Only the good die young...

So what have I been up to? Hmm who knows ;O)

Well coursework is going well and am doing Buddhism this week, it is a strange one I must admit. It is very different from the other religions I have studied so far. I am not very far into it so I don't know how it is going to pan out but it is interesting me so far though it isn't as in depth as the other ones I have done!!
I haven't gotten my results back from my TMA (05) yet but I am not wanting them back anyway as they might put me off my next TMA. I know I haven't done that well anyway so I might as well prolong finding out my results for as long as possible though I do keep keeping my student homepage daily for my results.
I had another think about S103 and I really want to do this course and I know that I won't have the time but I want to go for it so I am going to do it and I must be mad but that's me hehe. So I was thinking if I get a little ahead on A217 and do my exam revision early then I can do my course work as soon as it arrives for S103. Then when my exams are over in October I can get really stuck into the coursework and with some luck do at least six months worth of coursework and most of the TMAs before AD317 starts in Jan next year. It is the only possible way that I can do S103 and it not infer with AD317.

I had a fantastic drive last Saturday for a couple of hours. I was driving my dad around to see clients and I so much enjoyed it though my dad doesn't really like being driven around and that's not just by me either as he doesn't like anyone driving him around. I love driving and I want to have some more lessons soon so I can take my test as I am dying to get out there on my own and go for a drive though of course I can't afford a car so my dad will probably have me on his insurance and I can drive his car but he is never in so I won't get to drive as much as I like. It would be nice to get out once a week on my own and go for a drive somewhere for an hour, knowing me I might drive a little further and end up in Coventry to see my friend Pete or even further and end up in Northampton where I can see my friend Ben or even further into Essex to see Miss Bignell ;O) Who knows. All I know is I love driving and I wish I had learnt when I was 17 as I have missed out on driving all these years and I think it is an amazing thing so I wish I had gone for it when I was 17 though I don't think I was into it back then and was more interested in music which I still am but when I was 17 I used to sit around all day listening to music all day and look at music books and watch music videos and that was my life then. I still listen to music all day now but I do other things at the same time which is a good job because I am always so busy with so much to do.

Talking about music I am about to go to my third concert of the year, on Wednesday, and I can't wait. It is the Billy Joel concert in Manchester at the M.E.N arena. It should be good and I can't wait. In fact right now I am listening to his latest album that came out on Monday, it is called 12 Gardens and is a LIVE album that was recorded during his 12 sell out shows at Madison Square Gardens in New York. It is an amazing album (hence the title of this blog) and I am loving listening to it, it is nearly over which is a good job as I have been sat here for the last 2 hours listening to it. I must get back to some study in a few minutes when the last two songs have finished, I can listen to music as I study but can't pay too much attention to it so I wanted to listen to the album properly before I did some more study.
Also it is good because there are some Billy Joel songs I haven't heard for years and years and there are also a couple I don't know so I am going to listen to this album at least once a day before the concert on Wednesday so I can try and get to know the songs better and learn the ones I don't know as I don't want to go to a concert when I don't know the songs. I like to know songs when I go to concerts as I think there is no point in going other wise. There are people who go and see bands not knowing many if any songs and I think that is really pointless because I like to sing-a-long if the artist gets them singing along........ When I was at the Elton John concert he never got the crowd going and I am not used to that having only ever being to Bon Jovi concerts before when the crowd stand up and sing all the way through. I did expect it was like that at all concerts so I was very shocked when I was at the EJ concert and no one stood up and sang along. There was a point when he did his last three songs some of the crowd sitting on the floor seating got up and sang and clapped along and that was it but it wasn't enough for me even though it was a good concert. I am hoping for a little more from the Billy Joel concert and I hope that my dad likes it a lot as I bought the tickets for him for his birthday present and they cost me a lot more that the EJ tickets.

I better get going now as this album is on it's last song and I have major study to do today so I shall bid you farewell ;O)
