A207 - Going OK

I have started my A207 course as I said a few weeks back and so far it's going good.

I didn't have a clue what to expect going into the course but so far I can honestly say that I am very much enjoying it.

It is a very intense course which requires a lot of time and attention spending on it.

It is also an extremely enjoyable course as I sit down to do half an hour and before I know it I have done 90 minutes. It is that good!!!!

I am a little behind but I am hoping to have caught up by the end of next week. I really need to catch up and get a week ahead on it so I can then concentrate on my TMA for a week as I feel it will probably need my full attention for a week.

I haven't yet had a look at the TMA question as I really want to get ahead with my course work before I look at it because then I will be able to give it my full attention and get on with it.

There is only one thing that I didn't enjoy and that was the opera "Don Giovanni". It was three hours long. The first 90 minutes I got through ok but then I had to have a break as in places it got strange and a little weird and I did lose concentration. The second 90 minutes were spread out over 3 hours as I couldn't sit through a solid 90 minutes more of that Opera.

www.blackburnroadrunners.co.uk/

I am now looking after that website as I said in December I have taken over the website.
As of yet I haven't had chance to really do anything to it except put my name on it.
It badly needs a update and I am hoping to do one in the next couple of weeks when I have a day spare as it is probably going to take me a day to do it if not longer.
I have so many ideas of what I would like to do for/to the site but I don't really have much of a clue of how to do it as I haven't really had any experience of doing anything like it. So it will be a learning as I go along experience for me.
It looks hard but when you get on it's easier as I can use what's already there and write over what's there but I know I want to create a page soon and I don't have a clue of how to go about it so I won't be doing it just yet but I will do it one day soon.
If you get a chance then have a look and seehow I am getting along with it. I will be writing new things for it once I have gotten slightly ahead with my course so I can take a couple of days off from it and concentrate on the website.

eBay!!!!!!!!

I have some things for sale on eBay ATM if anyone is interested in having a look.

I have two of my old Open University courses on there as people seem to buy them for some reason.

I have my maths one on that I only did less than a third of and my Humanities course that I so enjoyed doing.

I wanted a certain amount for both of them with more for the Humanities course as it is such a fantastic course. So far I am well over what I wanted for the Maths course but as of yet the humanities course has no bids but a couple of watchers.

I also have the books on that I had to buy for T171 and I have a set price in mind for those books and so far one has a bid on but it is £2.00 below what I wanted for it but still has 6 days to go.

I also have a brand new book on that I got two weeks ago that hasn't even been read and costs £13.99 in the shops. I have two bids on that and some watchers but it isn't up to the minimum I want for it.

I have on a pair of shoes from Dune, a top (new) from Pink Soda, a new burberry (look-a-like) scarf, a lot of used and used cosmetics/body care set and I am trying to think of some other things to put on.

I am trying to make a certain amount of money but I'm not putting things on that I want or need. I'm putting things on that I no longer want and need so I can earn some money. I just hope they all sell as I really need the cash.

Started

I finally started my new course yesterday.

For some reason I thought the start date was Monday when it was in fact the Saturday just gone but that's my fault for not realizing the date. Plus why start a course on a Saturday?

I didn't get chance to start my course on Monday like planned as I was rushed off my feet all day doing things for my Dad.

I was really dreading starting the course as I didn't really know what to expect from it.

Yesterday I sat there for two hours doing my course. I was so into it that the time just flew by and when I looked at the clock I had been sat there for two hours.
So far after a day I am enjoying it and I'm getting it so far so I hope I can do OK in the course.
I was a little worried that the course may be a little above me and I was worried that I would fail it.
But now after the first day my fears have done away a little and I feel as though I can do it and pass but will I be saying that when I'm due to start my first TMA?

I haven't looked at the first TMA as of yet as it isn't even due until March sometime and as I have only just started the course I probably wont even understand the question/s or be able to answer them.
I just hope that by the time it comes to doing the TMA that I understand it and can do it and pass.
For the mark I'm after I obviously would like a really high mark for all my TMAs but this is a level 2 course and I have only done level one so far. I'm hoping to never go below 50% in my TMA scores for this course. I know I can do way above 50% after my 77% TMA for TXR174. So I am aiming above 50% for all TMAs. Maybe my first one wont be above 50% but that would be for the reason that I am out of practice as I haven't done a TMA like this course since the end of 2003 so it will take some getting into.

I can't wait to do more course work and when I have finished on here I think I am going to go and do half an hours worth or more if it does what it did yesterday and get me so into it I don't have a clue how long I have been doing it.
