Merry Christmas

Well it's now Friday 28th December and I've had my Christmas and I must say that it's the most amazing Christmas that I have ever had, I really enjoyed every single moment of it and it's just been the icing on top of an amazing year for me personally.

I got about 4 an a half hours sleep on Christmas Eve because I was woken at 7:30am by a text message. I had my alarm set for 9am so tried to get back to sleep after the text woke me but after half an hour of trying to get to sleep I just gave up.

I came downstairs and put the fires on and tried to make the house as warm as I could before putting the presents out for me and my dad.

About 8:30 I went and woke my dad and went and waited for him. I got the feeling he wouldn't be quick but he was quicker than I expected.

Now it was the fun time of unwrapping our presents. I really couldn't wait to see what I got and was like a little child ripping the wrapping paper off and throwing it down or anywhere really. I got some really amazing gifts and love each one of them.

From my dad I got:

A camcorder (which I'd already had)

A camcorder bag

A Ticketmaster voucher for when I next get concert tickets on Ticketmaster I have some money towards them

A Top Gear 3 DVD box set

Some lovely pink slippers from Next

A iTunes voucher

The Long Way Down DVD

From my mum I got:

A pink cosmetic mirror by Boots No 7. The one with lights round it. It's on a silver stand and has the magnified side too which I will try and avoid because it's so scary.

The Richard Hammond Interactive DVD

A lovely butterfly sleep light which basically continually changes colours when it is on.

A lovely jewelery stand thing which is a dress with arms made out of this black stuff with hooks on the end for things and where the head should be there is another one with more hooks on. It's lovely and glamerous.

I also got this bag round candle thing with three holes in it, inside the holes are three glass candle holders holding three tea lights. At the bottom of the big candle there is a switch and when you turn it on it flashes (slowlu) various different colours like the sleep light and it is so nice.

A box of chocs

My friend Caroline got me:

A lovely Next pink glitter scarf set which has a scarf, hat and gloves.

A little gift set with shower gel, body lotion and lip gloss from Next.

Pete got me:

The vicar of Dibley Christmas DVD that was shown on TV last Christmas.

Rich got me:

Bewitched Series 1 DVD set which is well over 13 hours long.

Swallowing Grandma which is a book by Kate Long.

My brother Duncan got me:

Dirty Dancing 20th Anniversary DVD.

My brother Barry and his family got me:

Shrek 3.

Dianna and Nathan got me:

A lovely little jewelery box thing with a mirror and a lovely butterfly detail. It is really lovely and I like it a lot.

A pink table top vac in the shape and colour of a pig. IT is sooo cute and handy to have.

A pink Playboy bunny cushion that is soooo soft and lovely.

I think that is everything. I might of missed a couple of things off the list but I think that you get the gist of what I have gotten.

Me and my dad were soon playing on the Richard Hammond interactive DVD whilst sipping Bucks Fizz and eating sausage sandwich's for our breakfast and in true form I beat him.

He then went to drop off some Christmas presents as I got showered and ready to go out but me being me faffed about and ended up having to rush round like a headless chicken trying to get ready. We had a taxi booked for 1:30 and it was 1:20 when my dad knocked on my door and asked if I would be ready in ten mins and at that point I was sat doing my make up and had half done my hair and wasn't dressed so you can probably guess that I wasn't going to be ready on time so he rung up the taxi place and put the taxi back for 10 minutes.

It was a total mad rush and I was trying to go as fast as I could but I couldn't go too quick with my eye make up and was glad once I'd finished that.

I'd bought a lovely dress especially for Christmas Day and I put it on and then realised that I didn't have time to put tights on so I had to whip it off and put on another dress I'd gotten but not yet worn. It was a nice black dress with short sleeves that were covered in sequins. Because that was also meant to be worn with tights or black trousers I went for my black skinny over-dye jeans with it because they don't look like jeans and I finished them with my patent black wedges with the gold wedge.

I just sat down to finish my hair when the taxi turned up 5 minutes early and that stressed me out because I literally needed only 5 more minutes to finish getting ready so my dad went out to see him and he said he knew he was early and didn't mind waiting. So I finished my hair, went and brushed my teeth and threw everything in my bag before putting my lovely faux fur coat on and leaving.

I didn't have time to take my black nail polish off and re-do them so I was basically sat in the back of the taxi with a nail polish remover wipe trying to take the polish off and finish getting ready before I got to the Windmill and I'd just finished as we pulled up outside the Windmill.

I was actually shocked about how much the taxi cost bercause I had expected it to cost at least double what we nomally pay with it being Christmas Day but it was only £8.30 when we normally pay £6 so it was only £2.30 more which I thought was pretty cheap.

It was packed inside. Well I knew it would be because all the tables had been booked months in advance. But as well as the people with the booked tables there were people in who had just come for drinks and they weren't happy that they basically had next to nowhere to sit but I thought they are lucky they can even get in the place and have nothing to complain about. There is 2 sofas and a leather chair on the way in and a couple of the benches weren't being used and the bar stools weren't and the 4 little tables near the pool table so there were some seats in the place.

Stuart was on and Ian was in and we got served by two people which I thought was pretty good. We then sat around waiting for the rest of my family to arrive. They came around half an hour after us and I was happy when they finally arrived because I'd been dying to go on the quiz machines and I didn't want them sitting in my seat because I'd picked where I wanted to sit and I knew if I'd left it I'd come back and wouldn't be able to sit there.

So once they'd got their drinks I was off to play on the quiz machine and was joined by my dad and 2 brothers so basically there was 4 of us playing Deal or No Deal and we still lost haha.

When we sat down again the starter was soon served and I only ate the prawns from the starter because I knew what was coming. Next we got the mulled wine, which we were meant to get before the starter, and I didn't like it so it ended up in my dads glass. Then the soup came. I don't like soup often and am very fussy about it so it takes a lot for me to eat soup and to form I didn't like this soup so I left it.

Next came the main!! OMG!! There was just so much turkey on the plate, slice after slice of it. This had to be the best part of the meal, everything was just cooked right and nothing was over or under cooked which made it even more perfect. It was all tasty and I ate about 90% of it which is more than I can normally manage there.

The dessert was a cheese board and I didn't really enjoy that, I did pick that because I thought the cheesecake would of been raspberry because that's the one they normally serve but it was summer fruits and looked to die for so I wished I was having that but also glad I'd not picked the Christmas Pudding because that looked a little manky.

At the start of the day I was on Malibu and diet coke but I went onto Advacaat and lemonade and Stuart made it just how I like it so that earned him some points because he is the only person, other than me, who has made it so tasty and just how I like it so once I'd had one of those I stayed on them.

I was playing on the quiz machine with Katie and Marc for a while before giving up and finding my dad at the bar I decided to stay with him because he was talking to stuart. It was now time for another drink because he was doing last orders so I had a advacaat and a black after shock. Stuart poured me the drink and turned his back for two seconds and I'd downed it and he wanted to know where it had gone *lol*.

I'd walked over to my brother to give him his drink by that point and my dad said Stuart was so shocked I'd drank it was fast.

I was sat drinking when Trish came over to see if we'd enjoyed the meal and she was talking to me when she asked where my dad was. I turned to see him walking towards her and I said he'd behind you and she had a really shocked expression on her face and walked up to him and gave him a kiss and a hug and I think she made his year because he couldn't stop talking about that all night saying he wishes she'd leave Ian and run away with him *lol*. Actually one of the times he said that Ian was walking up to him from behind and he didn't realise so I had to say something to shut him up before Ian heard what he was saying.

My dad then disappeared and I found him at the bar begging Stuart for another drink *lol*. I thought I might as well have another one so I got another black after shock and my dad got a double vodka because they'd run out of everything else my dad wanted.

I was then stood at the bar talking to Stuart for the next little while and gave him the change from those two drinks which was £3.85. He said he'd buy a pint with it and tried to give me the change from the pint and I said he can keep it so he put it in the waitresses tip jar. How nice is he?

He'd been putting a lot of his tips in that all day. He'd gotten loads over the course of the day and I kept seeing him put a lot of it in their tip jar but at the time I didn't know it was their top jar. Just goes to show what a nice guy he is.

As I was sat with Stuart my dad had rung a taxi and it turned up so I had to rush and get my coat and my bag and say bye.

It was funny because my brothers taxi turned up at the same time. They had to get a mini bus because there was 5 of them and they were going to Clayton Le Moors. Barry had driven them over but he'd been drinking so obviously couldn't drive back.

We got home and I threw off my shoes and got on my lovely new slips and sat down with my very drunk dad and played the Top Gear game again and posed for some pictures. He finally stumbled off to bed after being a pain and came down two hours later in his underpants and his shirt undo. If I was going to be cruel I would of taken a picture of him in that state but I aint that cruel.

I sat watching the Long Way Round DVD and then Shrek about 2am and didn't watch it all because I ended up falling to sleep about an hour into it.

I loved my Christmas for so many different reasons and that's just one day. I haven't gone into too much detail but a bit of other stuff went on that made me smile even more :oD

Hold it, don't drop it

Well it is only two more days until Christmas now...it feels so slow and this day has realy dragged. I think it's the fact it gets dark so early. I prefer it when it stays ligher for longer. As soon as it gets dark it feels much later than what it is and that drives me round the bend a little and I am not used to it. I bet that as soon as I get use to it getting dark at the time it does it will start getting darker later and later and then of course I will have to get used to that.

It got dark here not long after 4pm today and I thought it as about 8pm. I do have a terrible sense of time anyway and am clueless to what time it is 90% of the time. I don't really live my life by time and just do everything that needs doing etc but I never know the time unless I have to be somewhere at a certain time. Lately I have become less and less aware of what the day is which isn't a bad thing, I think if I wasn't self employed that wouldn't be a good thing because I might be turning up on the wrong days.

It is about 9:30 in the evening at the moment and I am going to Asda about 11:45 this evening because it is opening at 00:01am. We think it is best we go at that time because it won't be as busy as it will be at 8am. We actually went to Asda at 10am this morning and OMG we couldn't move. There was hundreds of people in there and we couldn't even park on the carpark, that is how full it was. We were meant to be getting a fair bit but we changed our minds when we saw how busy it was and basically got something in to eat this evening.

I have wrote a list because when you go without a list you end up forgetting things or buying things you don't really need or want. Plus it gets you out there quicker. My dad has the feeling that there is going to be loads of people waiting to get in Asda a minute after Midnight and I plan on getting us there about 10 minutes before and if it is quite busy we can be ready to run in there and get stuff as fast as we can and get out there as fast as we can.
It is so cold outside. I went out about 5pm and it was very cold then so I hate to think how cold it is going to be at midnight. We aren't leaving for another 2 hours and it's so cold now. I think I am going to go and get in the bath for an hour and chill out listening to some music.
My mum came round today to drop off my Christmas presents. She came round with the biggest gift bag I have ever seen in my life. It's twice the size of my bog, in fact I could put him in it and carry him around *lol*. There is 6 presents in it and a couple of people have said they are interested to see what she has got me but it won't be bad because she asked me for a list and said she will get me some things off the list. She normally gets me something that isn't on my list but I don't know if she has done that this year, I guess I will have to wait until Christmas Day to find out. The main thing I wanted (which I am hoping she got) was one of those mirrors that have the lights round it, so that I can do my make up. At the moment I just use a hand held mirror but I have wanted one of those other mirrors for ages now so I thought I'd ask for one this year. It's handy too because my light in my bedroom isn't the brightest and I have a habit of putting too much powder on and not realising until I leave my room and look in the one outside my bedroom but sometimes I don't get the change to look in it and end up going out caked in powder *lol*.

I gave my mum and step dad the presents I'd go them and my step dad wanted to opn his straight away. My mum said that everytime they have gotten any gifts off anyone this past week he has wanted to open them *lol*. I got my step dad a really nice red v-neck sweater and I hope he likes it and it fits. Red is his fave colour so I had to get him a red one and I know he doesn't have a red one so it's something he will like colour wise.

Anyway I am going to go and pour myself a nice malibu and diet coke and submerge myself in a nice hot bath for the next hour.

Does your granny always tell ya

Well here is it three days to Christmas. It has come so fast this year but the last few days have gone so slow, well they have for me personally. I remember when I was younger I used to wish that the last few days leading up to Christmas would rush by and then on the actually day for things to slow down and go back to normally speed *lol* The deluded mind of a youngsta eh?!!
Well this week I've probably not done as much as I should of done. I've just felt so lazy and have been having a little trouble motivating myself work wise but I've had enough of everything else to do in the week to keep me very occupied.

Monday I was still a little delicate from Saturday night which I couldn't quite believe but that was the case. It was a long day for me and I did feel better by bed time but two days to recover is hard. I actually think it was the bacardi because it's not my drink and not something I'd buy in general so my body couldn't cope with it. I think even if I'd only had a mouthful of it I would still have felt a little worse for ware the next day.

What is it with wrapping presents? I mean why does it take soooo long? I keep sitting down to do some wrapping and might be sat there for an hour and I've only done about 4. It's just so time consuming and I am glad I don't have children otherwise it might take 6 months to wrap all my Christmas gifts *lol*. I have almost wrapped them all, well I have one more for my dad. I got my brother a bottle of vodka and I have some of the bottle gift bags so I am just going to put that in one of them and selotape the top. My other brother I got two boxes of stella because there is a good offer on at Asda (I also got two for me hehe) and I don't know if I am going to wrap them because it will need loads and I don't know if I have that much left. I will wait until my dad has wrapped his gifts and then see what I can do. That's it then. I will be so glad to have done all my wrapping because it's driving me round the bend.

The weather is doing my head in, it's way too cold for me. I am not used to it because I do tend to avoid leaving the house as much as I can in this weather but this time I've been out so much so I will probably get used to it although I don't know if I will get over my fear of ice. I have a really crazy fear of falling on ice and badly hurting myself. If everyone had that fear they would never ever leave the house. I do sometimes refuse to leave the house, it does depends on how bad it is though. I will go out if it's just frost but of course can't wear trainers because they are just super slippy. But if it is totally iced over I can't do it. I remember once I badly had to go out and it took me about an hour to pluck up the courage to go out and then about 20 minutes to get from the front door to the car and not because the door is far from the house, it was because I am so petrified of falling and breaking something.

I must admit I am really looking forward to going to the Windmill on Christmas Day. It is going to be so amazing not to have to do any cooking on Christmas Day. I can just get up and unwrap my gifts and just have a good time and not have to worry about cooking or cleaning up. I can just chill out and spend a couple of hours getting ready and then go up to the Windmill. I have even bought a new dress especially for Christmas Day and yeah I got another dress. I hadn't worn one in many many years and within a month I have bought two. How crazy is that?!! The dress is really nice and I am sure will go nice on Christmas day.

Christmas morning I have gotten myself a bottle of Bucks Fizz for breakfast. I will be sharing it with my dad and will probably have chocolate with it or something Christmassy like some chocolate log (my fave). Then I will have a long bath and then spend a couple of hours getting ready. We booked a taxi a couple of weeks ago to pick us up at 1:30 and we are going to the Windmill. We have booked into the 2:30pm time slot for the meal. It's 6 courses so I am going to be so full I might even explode so if you don't hear from me you know what has happened. I know we can space it out so I am going to do that but with more than me and my being their it might be awkward because my niece can be a little spolit nightmare and will want them one after another so I might end up getting them sooner than I want. The pub closes at 6pm and I am staying till then as long as the Quiz machine is on because I need to play that as much as I can.

When I get home I don't know what I am going to do yet because it depends on what state I am in *lol*. Knowing me I will come home and stay up but it all depends on how I feel I guess.
Anyway that's it for now :o)

My night with the parental unit and Mel C

Well orignally this night out was meant to be me, Mel, Lynds and my dad but because of various reasons all the plans changed.
So I asked my mum and step dad if they wanted to come out because I won't be seeing them at Christmas this year.

Saturday was a bit of a mad rush because I'd slept in, I've had lots of late nights for the last two weeks and not been sleeping much because I have too much to do.
Friday night I finally got to sleep about 5am so just before I went to sleep I set my alarm for 10am so I could at least get 5 hours sleep. I then got woken up well before 9am by a text which I wasn't happy about. I then thought I might as well get up and get more done. I think I was sat there for about 20 minutes and some how I fell asleep. The next thing I know it's 11am and my snooze alarm was going off for the third time. So I'd slept through the alarm and the first snooze alarm, I don't know how I did that.
I was so tired, it must of taken me about 20 minutes to fully come round and drag myself out of bed. I was gonna jump straight in the shower but was way too tired to think about that so ended up on the computer until around 12 before having a quick shower and getting ready.
It seemed to take me forver to get ready so we didn't get out until 1:30 and then didn't back home until about 3:30.

Mel then asked me to phone her and we ended up on the phone until 4 and then I couldn't have a shower and start getting ready because I had the shopping to put away and I had to vac the house. So it was 5pm before I got in the shower so was a mad rush for me to get ready. I had to be ready for 6:20 so we could ring a taxi and go to the Windmill but I wasn't ready until 6:30 which I guess isn't too much over.

By the time we got to the Windmill it was 6:45 and my mum and Dave were already there, I bought me and my dad a drink and then sat with my mum and Dave for a few minutes before my dad went over to stuart to ask if our table was ready. Stuart went to check and came back and led us to the table, he said hi to me and smiled and made my night. I was kinda hoping he was staying around so I might be able to pluck up the courage to talk to him once Mel had arrived.

We sat down and we soon served our starters but I didn't like it and my step dad ended up eating mine and then finishing my mums *lol*. Soon the main course was here and the plate was packed as per useral. They sausagers had bacon on which I wasn't pleased about because I don't like bacon so they ended up on Dave's plate.
It was quite in the Windmill, I did expect it to be a little more busier with it being a Saturday night but I was so wrong. I've never been in there on a Saturday night but I've been in there around 7pm and it's normally a lot busier in there.
The best part of the meal had to be the dessert, I'm not the biggest dessert fan and don't always have it but omg it just looked amazing and tasted amazing. I couldn't eat a lot of it because I was so full from my main course.

About 10 minutes after we finihed the main course we went and sat in the bar area because Mel was on her way up to the pub to meet me. It turns out we forgot about the coffee and mince pies, I don't like either so I wasn't too bothered about it.
Mel was soon here and we were at the bar getting a drink each. Soon me and Mel were off to the toilets with our drinks because Mel had brough a bottle of bacardi out with her. She tipped double the amount in my glass than she'd tipped in hers because she reckoned I needed to catch up with her even though she didn't have a clue how much I'd drank when she wasn't there.
The coffees were served and I managed to get a tea, I ended up putting 4 sugars in it and 6 milks and I still couldn't drink it because it was so strong. It was like they had put about 10 tea bags in it hahaha.
Me and Mel went to the toilets again but my dad said we couldn't take our glasses with us....was he never young???!! So we had to swig neat bacardi which isn't very nice!!
Went back to the table and I got a shot of Sambuca for me and another one for Mel. I've never had sambuca before and have always wanted to try some. Mel said we had to down it which I'd guessed with it being a shot. But I'd never tried it before so I wanted to taste it - a big mistake!!
I put it all in my mouth and swallowed about half of it and thought I will just keep the other bit in my mouth for a few seconds to see what it tastes like. I really shouldn't of done that because all of a sudden my tongue burnt like mad and I couldn't even swallow and I ended up having to spit it out into the cup of tea I'd left. My dad then told me off but it's not like I did it on purpose, I tried to swallow it but couldn't do it. I certainly learnt my lesson there, next time just swallow it!!

My mum and step dad then left and me and Mel went to the toilets yet again for another swig of the bacardi!! We did actually need the toilet too so it wasn't like we were just going to swig the bacardi.

Came back and Mel went to the bar and got us all a shot, she got me and her a black after shock each and my dad a whiskey. I'd never tried the black one before so you can probably guess what I was going to do. You'd think I would of learnt my lesson after the sambuca but I hadn't haha. My dad, me and Mel went to down our shots and I put mine in and swallowed once and was about to stop putting the rest of it in my mouth when Mel tipped the glass up really fast so I had no choice but to down it.

Now we decided it was time for another drink and a game of pool so my dad went to the bar. I got a malibu and diet coke and Mel only had a diet coke. I thought she'd got that so she could put lots of bacardi in hers. We went over to the pool table and took our shot glasses with us and Mel filled all three and when my dad came with the drinks we all downed a glass of bacardi each.
Then me and My dad played pool and he won because my cue broke half way through and made me pot the black.
Now it was Mel and my dad and OMG!! About half way through the game Mel hit the ball and a red went shooting across the room followed by the white ball. Then a few shots later my dad hit the ball and it went flying off the table so I jokingly told him off like he did to me a few weeks previous when it happened to me.
Then My dad was stood next to where I was sat and Mel was taking her shot and it went flying across the table and hit my dad in his knee and I thought it had hit him in his nuts because he bent forward and it looked like he was holding them *lol*.
After that I kept covering my face every time Mel took a shot because I was convinced a ball was going to come flying at me and hit me in my face.

Once that game was over it was back to the toilets for another shot and then on the way back to the bar I went on the quiz machine and lost and swore at the quiz machine like I tend to do.
We then went and sat at the bar with my dad who'd bought us both another malibu and diet coke, Mel then bought us all a shot as well as me and her a cider with a shot of pernod in. I then bought us a Taboo and lemonade each and the bar man wa talking to my dad as he was serving us and he said to my dad that he thought me and Mel had, had enough and then some how managed to knock her cider and pernod all over her and on me too.
OMG!! He knocked it all over and the glass was full and thought it was funny but Mel thought it was cold because her top got covered and was soaked. I bet he was just trying to start a wet t-shirt competition. What is it?...go to the windmill and get a soaking. He took £1.30 off her bill and re-filled her drink. I should think so seen as he poured it everywhere.

We were sat drinking our drinks when Mel decided to grab hold of me and pull me to her. I had my cider and pernod in my hand which you can probably guess went everywhere and mainly ended up all over Mel. So she got another soaking and in retalitiation pushed me really hard and I ended up falling on my dad who in turn almost fell off his stool with his drink.
Then when Mel finally sat back down she grabbed hold of my necklace to pull me to her and ended up snapping it :o( I wasn't happy!! I knew she'd not done it on purpose but it was my favourite necklace and it's only the second time I'd worn it. I could see she'd just broken a link on the back and it looked like it could be fixed so that made it OK.

We downed three of the drinks we each had on the bar and then took our forth and final one to the toilets with us. I wouldn't let Mel put bacardi in mine because it changes the taste so I had to drink neat bacardi again.
Mel had a fag in the toilets too, omg!! I was glad the pub was almost empty because if anyone came in there then that would of been it.

We went back to the bar and there was only my dad left. He rang for a taxi and we decided we needed another toilet break so went back in there and I finished the bacardi off and then Mel put the bottle in the sink and took some pictures of me. She then had another fag and my phone rang and it was my dad *lol*. How lazy is he?!!

The taxi was there so we rushed out and got in the taxi and had the weirdest chat with the taxi driver ever. Then me and Mel discussed what we'd call our daughter if we had one hahaha. We got back to mine and the taxi driver said how much it was and we were saying he had to give him a tip because he was super nice *lol*.

I was so glad to get in and kick my shoes off, they were killing my by this point and it was nice to be home in the warm.

We got another drink and ended up cuddling up on the sofa inthe front room together for a bit before going online and talking to Nikki who was soon off to bed. Then we were back on the futon sofa cuddling up and talking a load of rubbish from what I remember. Heather (Mel's sister) kept ringing up to see if we were going to town and at this point it was 3am so there was no way we were going anywhere so we said she should come round here but her friends were staying at hers so she didn't end up coming.

After 4am we dragged ourselves off the sofa and proceeded to make a video which by the looks of it is going to be really funny when I edit it together. Once that was finished I became so awake and hyper. I'd had 2 lots of Pro-Plus, the first lot at about midnight and the second lot at 1:30am but they just kicked in all of a sudden and I was wide awake but Mel was super tired so I said there is no way I'd be able to sleep so she decided to sleep across the futon while I went and put bedding on my bed and calmed down *lol*.

It took me about 2 hours to calm down in the end. I made the bed which took about 30 minutes haha....least I did it though. Then I came back down and drank a large bottle of diet coke, went back up with a bottle of water and watched a DVD. Then came back down and made sure Mel was OK and shut the door for her to keep her warm. Then I went up and watched some more and then just before 7 I got the sudden feeling of being so tired I couldn't do anything and I led down and the next thing I remember is waking up at 9am to go toilet and then Mel being in my room just before 11am to drag me out of bed.
I felt soooo rough, a slight movement made me want to throw up so you can probably imagine how I felt about being dragged out of bed. All she wanted me to do was go to the front door with her so I felt it was pointless and thought she'd let me stay in bed with how rough I felt but she wouldn't so I had to get up and the room was spinning which wasn't good.

Tank was waiting outside for her but she made him wait while she had a fag before she rushed across the street in her bright pink cow print PJS haha.

I staggered into the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water and fell on the sofa and sat there for almost 2 hours before I got so desperate for the toilet I had to move.
I ended up lying on my bed and falling asleep until 4:30 and then woke and led there for half an hour before dragging myself up.

I some how how black hands and I don't know how I managed to get them so dirty, that really confuzzled me looking at them and them being so dirty. I don't know what I got up to but I think it was dirty *lol*.

I had another bottle of water and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps when I came downstairs and then my dad eventually came home and wok star arrived with some food which made me feel heaps better.

It's almost 3:30 in the morning and I still feel sick, I am still dehydrated and I am sooo tired I don't know what day it is. I've eaten so much in the past 9 hours and drank enough for about 5 people and I still feel rough. I drank more than Mel and my dad but didn't think I'd feel this rough. If Mel hadn't dragged me out of bed I am sure I would of slept till tea time easy.
I am cold one minute and hot the next and I am hoping to feel much better tomorrow because I have piles of work. I was actually meant to work Saturday but sleepin so late stopped that and then today I was meant to work all day and I've been too rough so I have heaps more to do this week that I would of had and on top of work there is just so much to do.

I have a nice booze section in the kitchen which is my Christmas selection and I've been dying to get into it today but with being so rough I just couldn't manage it.

The pictures are good from last night too.

My Goodies

I have some new toys to play with...and no not sex toys!!

On Friday afternoon my dad took me to buy me a new computer, mainly to work on, which of course I was pleased about because I'd been doing a lot of work on my laptop because we only have one desktop computer and sometimes both me and my dad need to use a computer at the same time and 70% of the time he will get on the desktop before me so I am stuck on the laptop until he moves his arse *lol*.
So he took me to get one and we had a look but nothing really stood out so he was going to order a Dell computer instead.

We then start looking at camcorders because my dad said he'd buy me one for one of my Christmas presents. We were in Asda the night before and they were selling camcorders for about £115 so I said I would like one so we picked it up and took it to the section where you buy them in the music section and when he brought it out it had tapes with it and I didn't want one with tapes so my dad didn't buy it. He said it would probably cost at least three times more for one I want but he will get me one.

So I saw two that took my fancy so we got the guy behind the counter, in the shop we were in, to get both down. He told me about them both and I liked the slightly more expensive one and got that one. It has better features on than the cheaper one and looks a little better too. He also got me the carry case for it but we forgot to get a spare battery but that doesn't matter because he'd already spent a lot of money on the camcorder for me.

When I was there I'd basically gone to buy a iPod for myself because every MP3 player I'd bought so far had messed up within weeks of me buying it and that's even the expensive ones. So I thought I should get a iPod because I've always wanted one and I can't see that breaking soon after me getting it.

I'd gone to get a nano but when I was there I was shown them all and fell in love with the iPod Touch. It's almost double the price of the Nano but it is so much better. Well actually they have the 8gb at £200 and the 16gb at £400 so I got the 8 because as my dad said I probably won't even fill the 8 let alone the 16. So that's what I got and I've played with it a fair bit since I got home and I really like it. I've not put many songs on yet but I will get round to that soon.
The iPod touch has so many amazing features on it and you can even go online with it wireless. I was watching youtube vidoes on it in bed on Saturday morning which was amazing. It has an address book in it too so I've put some addrersses in it. I will be putting pictures on it too and maybe a couple of videos but not many because I can just watch them via the net feature on it.
I won't be treating myself anymore this year after buying that iPod but then again it's not far until it's next year now hehe

I took my camcorder with me on Saturday to the party and filmed some random stuff as well as some very funny dancing so I will hopefully have it on the computer by the end of the day....

Saturday's Alright for a Party!!

Well it was my running clubs Christmas party last night and yeah I know I haven't run in months but hey I'm still a member and plus the tickets were free because it was the clubs 21st birthday so of course I was going.

I bought a lovely dress a few weeks ago for the party and some amazing shoes that I can't stand up in for longer than 10 minutes everywise my legs go from underneath me *lol*. I think I need to start wearing them daily for 10-15 minutes to get used to them (well I need to get used to heels anyway because of broken bones etc have prevented me from wearing heels and I need to build up the strength in my feet again so need to practice wearing them round the house but enough of that) and I also got a lovely black necklace from Next.

I was lounging around all Saturday so started to get ready later than I should of done. I showered and got out and was about to put lotion on when I realised I'd not shaved and there was no way I was going out in a dress without shaving my legs so I had to get wet again so I could shave. Once I'd finished and dried, covered myself in lotion and put my bath robe on I started to faff around on the computer which then put me behind again.

I rushed upstairs with less than an hour to get ready and I knew I wouldn't be ready for when I wanted to. Everything seemed to go to plan at first and I was downstairs ready to get my shoes on and do the last few touches to my outfit but then I couldn't find my shoes. I'd left them downstairs in a box but I couldn't find them and I was looking everywhere. I rushed upstairs thinking I may have taken them up there for some strange reason and literally threw everything everywhere in my room trying to find them and I couldn't find them anywhere so I rushed back down and lifted my jacket up on the sofa and guess what I found??? ... my shoes!!
So I get my shoes on and my coat and then the taxi is here...well a mini bus *lol* So we had room to spread out in hehe. Before I know it we are there so I step out the mini bus just as a big gust of wind blows and you can probably guess what happens....my dress blew up and it wasn't very long so it didn't have too far to blow but luckily I got my hand down just in time for me not to flash my knickers but also luckily I had thick black opaque tights on so they wouldn't of seen my knickers anyway. Two of the members of the club were waiting at the door so I am glad I didn't flash anyone *lol*.

We had to have our ticket taken when we went in and then we put our coats in the clockrooms and omg I've never been anywhere before that had a cloakroom. It was pretty fancy. As I was walking out Madeline came in with 4 others who I don't know and she introduced us.
I then went up to where the party is with my dad and we were passing people my dad knew and he'd stop and talk to me and then finally introduce me after I'd been stood there for a couple of minutes looking like a idiot. Everytime he introduced me they kept saying they'd heard all about me so I was wondering what my dad has been saying about me to these people *lol*. There was lots of people there so lots of introducing going on and I was getting a little bored because as I said my dad would talk to people for ages before introducing me and then wasn't joining me into the conversation which was rude and rather boring to be honest.

I was glad when they announced that we could sit at our tables for the meal. We were at table one with Madeline (who did the seating plan) and the 4 others she introduced me to along with 2 others. Then after about ten minutes waitresses came round with 3 lots of starters and you picked which one you wanted. There was smoked salmon with prawns, soup and a fruit thing and I went for soup which was vegetable soup and very nice.

We were sat chatting while a table at a time were told to get up and get their main course. Basically a table a time went to the end of the room and queued up and then were given a choice of 5 meats and you could have just one or a little bit of all of them or a piece or one or two of them but I went for turkey when it was our tables turn to go up. Then you helped yourself to veg and gravy and other bits. The main course was really nice and we were finished ages before the rest of the room had even been called up to get their food. Next was dessert time, a sexy waiter came round to each of us individually and told us what there was and we picked which one we wanted. There was chocolate and nit cheese cake (which I went for) a fruit pavlova with cream, xmas pud or a cheese board.

Then about 20 minutes after we had that they came out with the coffee and I didn't have the chance to say no to coffee because they had poured it before I realised what was going on *lol*. I shoved three sugars in it and some milk and drank half and left the rest. I don't really like coffee so me drinking half a cup is a big thing for me *lol*.

Once the coffee was over the disco become louder and people started to get up to dance. Madelines kept trying to get me up but there was no way I was getting up until I'd had a few more drinks *lol*. People were coming up to our table a lot and talking to us, the chairman Norma came up and introduced herself to me because we'd never met but I knew who she was because I'd heard a lot about her and me and my dad had been avoiding her all night which says a lot about what we think about her *lol*. She's just taken over from my dad as chairman as he got fed up with being the only man on the committee and plus they always took over from him and it was a nightmare for him trying to be chairman.

Then we went over to talk to Eileen who was in Amsterdam with us and my dad then took over the conversation and basically left me twiddling my thumbs and texting my friend in pure boredom *lol*. Then someone else came over to the table and my dad started to talk to her and joined me in for about 30 seconds so I went to the toilet and listened to them gossiping about Madeline who had won a marathon place in the clubs draw and she'd been boasting all night she was going to win one of the two club places and she did so people thought it was a fix that she got it.

Then back to the table when Sue came over who is another club bitch who I've heard lots about. So I sat checking my hair in my mirror whilst she talked away to my dad then she turned round and told me she wasn't ignoring me but she was!! Then I got lumbered with her as she talked to me like we were best friends. OMG!! My dad went to the bar and stood behind Sue taking the piss out of me because she'd sat down with me and was talking to me like we'd known each other for years and were close friends *lol*. I think she was sat with me for ten minutes and she then asked me to dance and I said later and then said I'd probably keep saying that until I went home *lol*. So she lent across the table to another woman (who's name I'd forgot) and said I wouldn't get up so she said she was going to drag me up *lol*. Then asked what music I like and I said 80s music and Sue asked what 80s and I said most of it especially Bon Jovi. It turns out Sue is a big fan of them and started to talk about how many times she has seen them and I beat her by 1 time hehe and I was telling her about when I saw them in June and had 8th row tickets and then my dad came up behind her pulling faces *lol*. Sue then went to ask the DJ to play Bon Jovi and my dad sat down and was taking the piss saying that Sue is my new best friend hahahaha.

I was sat talking and guess what comes on???? ..... Livin' on a prayer by Bon Jovi!! So I think I shall escape to the toilets haha then Sue comes over and drags me onto the dance floor which has about one other person on and everyone is staring at us which was so bad but then more and more get up which made it better and we danced to that and another 80s song and I had to take my shoes off. I then dragged my dad on for a song before getting my camcorder and filming people dancing and I can't wait to get that on here because it is hilerious.

Not long after I finished filming it was time to get my shoes back on and get ready to leave because our taxi was booked for 1:20am and it was almost time for us to leave. We went to say bye to Sue and Norma when my new best friend invited me into town with her and some of the others and I just looked at me dad in a way to say I'd rather not haha and I said I couldn't and left as soon as I could *lol*. I was pretty tired anyway and my shoes were way too high for the night so I declined and to be honest I didn't want to go out with a bunch of people I'd just met and only had £20 on me so I couldn't really go anyway.

So it was home and the taxi driver has picked us up a few times before so my dad talked his head off on the way home.

I was so glad to get home, I chucked my coat and necklace off and then went upstairs and took everything else off, tired my hair back and got my pink fluffy robe on before coming downstairs and stayed online until 5am before going to bed and putting back to the future II on and finally went to sleep around 7am and slept until 2pm.
I'm so tired today and am going Windmill about 7pm for some food. My dad is at Rovers at the moment so can't go until 7pm.

A Spaceman Came Travelling

Time for a bit of a weekly update, when I just sat down to do this I knew what I was going to babble on about but my mind has just gone blank so I will try and think of something to type about *lol*.

Well I had a good week last week with seeing Mel and then Lynds and then going to see Maroon 5, you can read all about that in the other blogs I've posted this week.

Thursday night when Nikki as leaving I had a sore throat that had started to throb. As I sat at the computer uploading pictures my throat got worse and by time I went to bed it was agony, really throbbing. I fell asleep for about two hours but I kept on waking up because it was throbbing so much. In the end I came downstairs to see if I could find something to take and found some strepsills so sucked on them and everytime I woke up I put one of those in my mouth and it did help a little with the pain.

When I woke up on the Friday some of the throbbing had gone and with having a Strepsill every hour or so it kept the throbbing down but my throat or rather my tonsils were still hurting. I knew I had mild tonsillitis, I've had it so many times I know when I have it and I avoid going to the docs with it because I have to have them out if I get it again although if I go with mild tonsilitis he might not say I have to have them out. Anyway I didn't go because to be honest I don't fancy having a op right now.

As the day wore on my tonsils hurt and I started to feel more and more under the weather. It was a long and horrible day and I was up till the early hours of the morning because I hate sleeping when I am ill because I have really stressy dreams and hate having them.
I woke up on Saturday with a cold and I wasn't pleased. I felt rough but was thankful I didn't have a runny nose because for me personally that is the worst part of cold and makes me feel dreadful, I felt pretty dreadful as it was but at least my nose wasn't running.
I was so bored on Saturday and there was buggar all on the TV, I ended up watching Spice World....that's how bad the boredom got for me *lol*

I ate only McDonalds too because that is what I seem to crave when I'm ill.
Sunday was probably the worst day of the illness, I woke up feel dreadful but by the end of the day I had started to feel a little better and even managed to sit and write my Christmas cards in the evening so I knew I was starting to get a little better.
Monday again I woke feel a little better and managed to get some things done that needed to be done. I didn't venture out the house though, I hater going out in the cold when I have a cold. It feels horrible.

The first time I ventured out the house was on Tuesday when I was starting to feel more better. I'd come a long way since waking with the full on cold on te Saturday and I as ready to venture out the house and go shopping, where else?!! I had to drive my dad to the otherside of Blackburn because he is looking after his ex bosse's house and animals whilst he was away. We were there ages and then I had to reverse off the drive onto a busy road which I wasn't best pleased about. Then on to Asda and because we were behind time I got marched round there *lol*.

Came home whilst my dad went to the other side of Preston to see a new client and then waited as he rushed back to Blackburn so we could go up to the Windmill for some tea. It was a push to get up there, my dad got here about 8:25 and we swapped seats and I drove us up to the Windmill and basically got our order in just in time. I think I was on another planet that night (I was drugged up with meds) because I kept saying "hi" to everyone who I've seen in there before *lol*.

The chef was well stingy with the food too, well he was with mine anyway, and I didnt get as much hotpot as normal so maybe they didn't really have enough for a full serving or something. I also ended up stealing the pepsi glass I was drinking Appletizer out of. Well the thing is we were leaving and I had lots left and didn't feel like downing it so I just took it home with me *lol*.

Wednesday got some work done and sorted a few things out before going to Asda again, I think I live there at the mo with the amount of times I am going there. We got some decs for the house, mainly tinsel, and bowls and pot pouri. I also got tons of wrapping paper but I've just remembered I've forgot selotape!! Then I had to take my dad across to his ex bosses house again so he could sort things out there and we got stuck in traffic because (a) it was rush hour and (b) because there had been an accident above the road we were going to and it took about 30 minutes to get to that road stopping and starting so much it was doing my head in. We eventually got home and unpacked before going out to the Windmill for food yet again. I am going to get to the point where I never want to cook again because I'd not cooked in over a week and I'm liking it *lol*.

Left the Windmill with another Pepsi glass...well I need a full set now. I think I need to get 3 more medium coke glasses from there also because I only have one Or maybe not!! I think I might get one so then I have 2 matching ones hehe.
Today I got up the earliest of the week even though I was worn out from a week with not enough sleep.....god this sounds so boring *lol*. Then I rushed down the street naked whilst letting off fireworks out of my nostrils before returning to milk the cows and use the milk in my tea

Nah...really got some work done. Did some online shopping for Christmas, faffed about a bit and then went to Asda. YEAH ASDA!!! AGAIN!!! I'm lurvin it ba bab ba bar!! etc etc!! Got Some nice Christmas candles in their own bowl and also loads of those little tea lights but they are Xmas ones which look so nice. Also got another couple pieces of tinsel because it's so cheap.
We were walking round when I spotted a camcorder for £118 so I thought I'm having that for Christmas instead of a mobile because there's nothing wrong with my mobile other than the fact I want a newby *lol*. So we put it in the trolley and the £18 pack that goes with it and we went to buy that and when we got there we found out it was a tape camcorder so I changed my mind because I want a digital one.

Left Asda and popped over to my second favourite shop, NEXT, to find a black vest to go under my dress for weekend (I will explain why in another blog at weekend) and they didn't have one in. Well they had some black ones but they weren't one's to wear under something. I just ended up with a gourgous black necklace.

When I got home, finally!!, I ended up looking for camcorders and found a couple I like so my dad is gonna take me to pick one on Saturday and is gonna end up paying three times more for it but you get what you pay for I guess. I want a mini one that is small enough to fit in my bag and carry round with me.

I'm gonna get a new mobile in the new year because there isn't any rush I guess and I don't mind waiting until I can spend some money on one.
I put up the decs that I bought, I already have some but I just can't be bothered putting tons of them up right now so I just have tinsel up mainly and the other little bits I've picked up and it looks good. I might just pick some more tinsel up because I need 2 more pieces of gold in this room and only have blue and red in the Xmas decs box and I just like it being gold in here.
I'm possibly off to Preston to do some shopping with Lynds in the morning but she has text me and I'm not sure if we are or aren't at the moment so I will have to wait and see. If not then it's work tomorrow and I have to wrap some presents too and send some more Christmas cards and fill out my Open Univsersity Course Application Forms for next Jan, I think I'm doing Art History next year or I might do the Film and Television History...Will have to wait and see now.

Anyway I am off because I've even bored myself with this blow by blow account *lol*.

Chain Reaction

Last Thursday I was sat at the computer drinking cocktails in the afternoon (as you do) and was talking to Nikki on MSN. We were getting on really well so I asked her if she wanted to come round to my house for a few drinks. She said yes and said she will be round in 45 minutes.
As soon as she left MSN I jumped off the computer because I was basically sat around in my PJs. I rushed upstairs and had a quick wash before getting dressed, sorting my hair and slapping a little make up on so I didn't look too scary.

I came downstairs and did a little tidy up before Nikki arrived. She bounced into the house in true Nikki fashion and was sooo tall. I knew she was tall so I'd put on some heels but she still towered above me so I think I need to get some leg extensions.

We were soon sat down in the middle room with a drink each and had a long natter were Nikki filled me in with some of the things that happened at school. She made me laugh with some of the things she was telling me. As we were talking I had the video from my 12th birthday on in the background so she could laugh at how dodgy it is *lol*.

We had a couple of drinks and listened to some music and started to have a laugh and even started to play truth or dare at one point which was very funny.
I eventually ordered a spag bol from a Italian which Nikki had recommended to me and that was very yummy. We even had a trip to the offy to get some more drinks. Nikki decided to tell the owner I was only 15 and luckily he didn't ask me for ID as I'd just left it at home and wouldn't of been pleased with Nikki for saying that *lol*.

We ended up online with the cam on, winding one person up totally before talking to some people Nikki knows. We also phoned a couple of people I know.
We ended up having a real laugh as the pictures testify. It was a mad evening and I hope to do it again soon. Nikki went about 1:30 and I ended up staying up till after 3am putting the pics on the computer and rotating them. It was all a lot of fun!!

Maroon 5 Concert

I'd been really looking forward to the Maroon 5 concert for about a month so when the day of the concert came I was pretty happy although I wasn't sure if Lyndsey would be coming or not because she was suffering from bird flu.

I got up in the morning all excited and half expecting Lynds to phone me and say she was too ill to come but instead we made arrangements online to meet outside Frankie and Benny's at 3:30pm.

I then jumped in the shower and came back down with a towel on my head and ended up back on MSN talking to Lyndsey. My dad then decided to be my own personal talking clock, telling me the time every 5-10 minutes. He was totally doing my head in, in the end I said bye to Lyndsey and went and dried my hair and did my make up.

I was falling behind time again because I always seem to lose time somewhere and 10 minutes before I was due to be outside F&Bs I was just leaving my house. We then got caught in school time traffic and then we got caught behind a learner driver. OMG!! I know I haven't passed my test yet but I am heaps more confident on the roads and I don't think instructors should take learners into the busy town centre when it is so busy.
This learner wouldn't pull out at the junction and we were sat there for ten minutes, I think if it didn't pull out when it did I would ot got out the car and walked the last 5 minutes.

I got there about 2 minutes before Lyndsey so I was happy I'd not kept her waiting.

We went in and got shown to a table and when we ordered our drinks we got asked for ID. Normally this isn't a problem for me because I always have it on me, well that was until my mum got me a new bag and matching purse for my birthday. The purse doesn't have any sections in it for cards so I just had my two bank cards in it.
I was mortified when he asked for ID because I kinda knew it wasn't in there and had to have a diet coke.

I rung my dad up and asked him to bring me some ID from home. He wasn't happy because he was half way up the car park in town and had to turn round and go home. He was annoyed because I'm 25 and I am stil getting asked for ID.
By the time my dad turned up I was eating burger and fries and soon the waiter was over asking me if I wanted another drink and of course I did otherwise I wouldn't of got my dad to bring my ID to me.
I had a strawberry Dalquari and I was a very happy bunny then.

The food was nice as always and so was the other strawberry dalquari that I had. Once we finished we made our way out into the pouring rain and made our way across to the train station.

As we were stood waiting for the train I decided I badly needed the toilet but I couldn't go because the train was due but OMG it came 5 minutes after I first said I needed to go so I could of gone. But then knowing my luck the train would of turned up as I was sat on the toilet.

The train journey seemed to be never ending and I was bored a lot of the way, no offence to Lyndsey, but it just seemed to be one of those journeys that went on and on and on so when we got there I was glad to get off and stretch my legs.

The station is right under the arena which is good. We went to the shop and I got some water to take in with me. We then went in Mc Donalds for a snack and a drink before making our way into the arena. When we got there they made me throw my water away which I wasn't happy about because I'd just got it.

We looked for programs but all they had was a book full of pictures that didn't look too good. They had a couple of nice looking t-shirts but I wasn't in the mood to get one so we made our way to our seats.

The opening act was on by this point and they were OK but weren't really my cup of tea. So we went out to get a drink and Iwent to the toilet while Lyndsey got the drinks. We agreed to meet by the door we came out.
I came back to the door I thought we came out of (107) and was stood there for ages wondering where Lyndsey was and about 5 minutes later she came and tapped on my back. It seems there was two 107s and we were in the other one but at least I go the 107 bit right.

The opening act had left and they were setting up for Maroon 5. They seemed to take forever doing that and it was such a long and boring wait before at 8:50 Maroon 5 finally came on stage!!

The concert was good and they did some really good songs, I had a good sing along but they didnt get the crowd going as much as other bands so which was a little dissappointing for me. The couple next to me sat still all night and barely clapped and didn't cheer once, I thought what is the point in coming to a concert if you are going to sit there like a couple of wet lemons?!!

The concert really started to get going about 45 minutes into it and they did a couple of their best songs and then just over an hour into the concert they left the stage.
Everyone was sat waiting for them to come on, even the lights didn't come back on for ages althought they normally come back on when a concert is over, it was after about 1-2 minutes when we realised they weren't coming back on.

It wasn't even 10pm yet and they had left after just around an hour and a bit!! I wasn't happy!! It was the shortest concert I have ever been to because normally they do 90 minutes minimum and Bon Jovi do around 2 and a half so for this band to go off after an hour wasn't very pleasing at all.

I then realised we missed the early train by 5 minutes, if they'd gone off 5-10 minutes before we could of gotten back to Blackburn and had a couple of drinks but now we were stuck in Manchester for 70 minutes.

We decided to go out and see if we could find somewhre to get a drink. It took about 20 minutes of walking round until we ended up in the Hard Rock Cafe. We had Strawberry Daquari each but it didn't taste like she'd even bothered to put any alcohol in it.

We left there and made our way back to the train station and just as we were walking in they announced the Blackburn train was about to leave from platform 4. OMG!! There was a mad panic on and we ran across the station stopping and asking the police where the platform was. We got to a train and was about to get on it when Lynds asked if it was the Blackburn one and it turned out it wasn't and it was the otherside up some stairs and down the stairs at the otherside.

At this point I was out of breath and having to run again nearly killed me. I ran to the steps and I just couldn't run anyway, I was out of breath but moved up the steps as fast as I could. I got to the other side and I could see the guy ready to wave the train off and as I got half way down Lyndsey got to the guy and stopped him and shouted me to hurry up. I made a mad dash to the train and jumped on and 2 seconds later it started moving.

OMG!! I'd never been so out of breath in my whole life, I was in pain in my lungs and my side killed. It was at that point I knew I needed to get a lot fitter, it Lynds hadn't been able to run like she had then we never would of got on that train and would of had to pay for a taxi home which would of cost £30-40 and I wouldn't of been pleased.

We didn't have a seat for the first 10 minutes of the journey and eventually got seats.

The journey home was a lot harder because we were both tired. It seemed to go on for hours although it was about an hour in total. I was so bored and I couldn't wait to get off at the other end.
We finally did and I almost left my purse on the train but luckily for me Lyndsey spotted it as we were getting off.

We made our way outside were Lynds ordered two taxis and they both turned up at the same time so we left at the same time.

It's just a shame the concert was so short, an hour is nowhere near enough and that puts me off seeing them again.

Not a dry eye in the house

On Sunday (25th) once I'd tided up I'd arranged for Lyndsey to pop round for a couple of drinks so I went and jumped in the shower and started to get ready. We arranged for her to come at about 3:30 so I had plenty of time to get ready but I alway seem to lose track of time and run out of it.
I finally managed to get ready for just after 3pm when she phoned me up and asked if I wanted to meet at the Railway Club. I didn't even have a clue where that is so she said she'd be around in about 30 minutes.
During that time I was on the phone to Mel because I was really nervous. I've been talking to Lynds for months now and we seem to get on really well but at school I never really talked to her so couldn't really remember her. Mel said from what she remembers Lynds is a laugh and I knew that from our daily conversations.
Just around 4pm Lyndsey arrived and I was a bag of nerves and tried calming myself down. I didn't have a clue what to say and I am sure I babbled *lol*. I made us one of the blue cocktails and we sat and had a laugh watching the video from my 12th birthday. It seemed to calm my nerves a lot even though I was still a little bit nervous.

After we finsihed watched the video we went into the kitchen to get some pink wine before making our way to the computer because I'd promised Mel we would pop online for 10-20 minutes. We ended up with the webcam on having a right laugh. At one point I went upstairs to get my gloves to show to Lynds and we both put one on forgetting that Mel was watching us and Mel was like WTF are you too doing so Lynds wrapped my scarf round her face and I held up a piece of paper against mine to make it look like we were going burglaring *lol*.
We were laughing so much and having a laugh and I am sure the wine was helping. At one point me and Lynds had a comp to see who could down their drink the quickest and she won, I kinda gave up and then finished it. I then moved onto the archers and was drinking it out of my wine glass with the straw I'd gotten in the Windmill the night before. It was so funny, I was laughing so much I had such a hard time swallowing it *lol*. It was soon finished though and I was going to go back onto the blue stuff whilst Lyndsey was still on the pink wine.

My dad came home and then started talking to us, Mel ended up leaving MSN whilst me and Lynds sat and talked to my dad as he ordered take away for me and him.
We were talking about running and I was saying that I couldn't go down to the club because they all ran off and no one will run with me because I run/walk so Lynds said that she'd come down on Wednesday's and run/walk with me before going back to the club for a couple of drinks so I am looking forward to that. It's jst such a shame she can't make it to the Christmas party.

Lyndsey went about 8:30 and was meant to be going to bed but ended up going out again *lol*. I carried on with the blue cocktails and rang an old school friend, Dawn, and asked if she wanted to come round but she had to start work at 6am the following morning but said next time she would.
I ended up being so bored that night, there was next to nothing on the TV so I ended up on the phone to my friend Carl until about midnight when I thought I better drag myself to bed before I drink more.

It was another good day, last weekend was a good weekend for me that's for sure.

Life is a lemon and I want my money back

Well I am ill at the moment and don't seem to feel up to doing much so while I fester away I thought I would come on here and start to catch up on my blogs. I have quite a few of them to write so I might as well do one today.

Last Saturday was an interesting day for me. I was finally meeting up with my old school friend, Mel. We have been talking online since about July and I was so shocked when she got in contact all these years later but it was nice to hear from her nevertheless.

We had arranged to meet in town on Saturday at 1pm and I am sure everything was against me getting there on time that day. First of there seemed to be a lot more trafic than normal and I was texting her to let her know where I was as I am sure she thought that I wasn't going to turn up. Then when we finally get to town there was a massive queue to get onto the car park and we were stuck in that for 5 minutes which isn't a long time but by this point I was already 5 minutes late. Once we get on the car park we couldn't find a space so again I was having to text Mel to let her know what was taking me so long to get to her. We finally found a space on the roof and I rushed down to meet her. I wasn't really nervous but when I turned the corner to go up to where she was standing I started to get a little nervous. When she saw me walking up to her she turned away so she had her back to me and I could see she was giggling *lol*. When I got to her I tapped her on the back and she turned round and then introduced me to tank and his son before they left.

I think once we said hi most of my nerves just went. It was so strange because it didn't feel like I've not seen her for the last ten years but then again we have talked heaps online and on the phone and I think that helps a lot. We then went to a shop with my dad because we need to buy some sheets. Then we went up to the car which of course is on the roof and was a knackering walk as it was all up stairs....I really do need to get fitter.
We then went up to the Windmill and had a right laugh on our way there, it was so surreal to me. We just got on like we did at school although we had our ups and downs at school I've grown up so much and I hoped Mel had done so too.

When we got to the Windmill we both got Malibu with diet coke and then ordered the same thing for lunch. We had a filled yorkshire pudding. I'd had one the night before and liked it so much I had to have it again. Then my dad asked the stupidest question about something he wanted. He turned round and asked Stuart what the chicken was and he was like it's chicken *lol* we all burst out laughing at his question.

We sat down and started to have a bit of a girly gossip before my dad went and sat at the bar because I was trying to be careful what I said in front of him and he knew that so he sat at the bar with his mate while me and Mel had a bit of a gossip.
The dinner arrived and it was so yummy, I'd not really eaten that morning so it was nice to finally tuck into some good food and have a bit of a natter as we ate. We had another drink before going out for a fag break (well I went with Mel) and had another natter out there but we were soon making our way back inside because it was so cold.
Next it was time for a game of pool. Mel said she was rubbish, so when she potted 5 balls straight away I thought she was joking but then she started to make really hidious shots. We ended up playing the game for an hour and I won because Mel potted the black and the white went down after it. We were going to play 3 games but because one game took us an hour we thought we better not start another game otherwise we'd be there all night *lol*.

During the game I took a normal shot and ball ended up rolling off the table and across the floor and everyone turned round and looked at me. I was so embarrased when that happened and turned around so they couldn't see my face. Me and Mel then burst into laughter as we tried to work out where the ball had gone. Neither of us wanted to go and get it but I had to, as I went to get it I told my dad what had happened and he asked me where the ball had gone and he turned round and started to tell me off and I walked away in total embarrassment of everyone looking at me, it was at the point I hoped the ground would open up and swallow me. He brought the ball back to the table but I just couldn't look at him because of him shouting at me in front of so many people.

Me and Mel hen decided that we wanted a slush with malibu in so we asked my dad to go and ask if they would do one of them of us (one each) and they did do and it was quite nice although we couldn't manage all the slush so we should of asked for a smaller one. We ended up with a really cool straw though, they are thick and have a spoon on the end so we ended up keeping them.

We went and played on the quiz machine and I kept getting the 5 gold balls on the bingo and kept thinking I'd won but to win you need to get the 5 gold balls and a full house and it was really annoying me so I did my useral trick of swearing at the machine before we went to go and stand with my dad near the bar so I could watch Stuart *lol*.

We stood there for a little while before my dad went to pay the bill, as he was I had my back to Stuart so Mel said I should move to where she was so I could see him but she moved in the most obvious way which made is obvious that I was looking at him so I couldn't really look at him because it was obvious that why we moved round.
We went to see my dad to find out how much our share of the bill was and were shocked to find out a slush and malibu came to £4. Ours came to £15 each which I think is pretty cheap seen as the slush drink was £4 alone and we'd had 2 other drinks as well as the filled yorkshire pudding and a plate of chips.

It was time for home now so we piled in the car and came back to my house where Lucky greeted us with excitement as always, he's my number one fan *lol*. We were soon cracking open the drinks and were on the blue cocktails which we both loved. We then moved onto pearch archers before nipping up to the offy and getting a purple drink and some snacks. We had the purple drink when we got home and we both loved that one. We then went back onto the blue cocktails before I opened the coconut bacardi breezer which was very yummy.
We had a right laugh catching up and having a drink, we were eating snacks and eventually ordered some food from Wok Star before putting our PJS on. We then went online for a bit on webcam and messed around before playing truth or dare. One of the dares involved Mel running outside in her PJs at 3am and dry humping a lamp post before shouting Oi sexy!! It was sooo funny, we were both rolling round in laughter when she ran in the house.

We had a really good laugh and ended up in my bedroom about 3:30. We sat up having a D&M chat before Mel saying she needed to sleep. So I went and led down next to her and was moving around a lot like I do when I go to bed and I said I was sorry for moving so much when she started to snore her head off *lol*. I was thinking OMG and led there for about half an hour before I was able to fall asleep myself. I woke up a few times in the night for toilet visits and when I came back to bed I found it so hard to get back to sleep, lying there for half an hour a time.

In the middle of the night Mel got a text which woke me up and I was forever trying to get back to sleep after that.
I woke up at 10am with my alarm and I was totally knackered from not enough sleep. I sat up for about half an hour making noise so Mel would wake up. I didn't want to wake her in case she turned round and hit me *lol*. Eventually Mel turned round and opened her eyes and saw me sat there and started to talk to me.

About an hour later Mel got up, took everyone off and got dressed....she certainly isn't shy that's for sure *lol*. We finally went downstairs and ended up online again with webcam on while she waited for her taxi. It turned up and I waved her off before coming back in the house and sitting on the comp for a couple of hours trying to wake myself up.
It was a good night all in all and we both hope to do it again soon. It was nice to catch up after all these years.
