Study? oh come on!! Spending the night with Robert

Well I should be studying and any sensible person with the amount of study I have to get through today would be sat doing it but not me. I must be a glutten for punishment or something as I will have to do it today even if I am still sat doing it at midnight!!

Just a quick update me thinks though knowing me I will go on and on for a while lol.

Last Tuesday night my friend Robert (Bob or whatever he wants to be called this week ;O) ) rang me up and asked me to go and watch a DVD with him. At first I wasn't sure because I hadn't known him for long and being alone in a house with someone you hardly know isn't always the best thing to do. So I hummed and arred about it for a while and I so wanted to go badly but I didn't know if it was the right thing to do.
About 90 minutes after he asked me I said OK!! WOW! even that shocked me when I agreed to it but I had this feeling about him and he seemed nice to I thought why not?!!

So he came and picked me up!!

It was kind of funny because he wouldn't knock on my door because he thought I had given him the wrong address - as if I would do that!! So he rung me from outside my front door and we were talking to each other on the phone through the door lol. I eventually put my phone down and answered the door and he carried on talking through the phone to me lol and then was like "why am I still talking on the phone" lol.

So I went to his house and surprinsgly I became relaxed pretty quickly which is unlike me but he just has this air about him, it's hard to explain, but it made me feel comfortable and relaxed and at ease and like I can just be me :O)
His house is nice but had allsorts of weapons all over the place and the more he pointed out the more I felt a little on edge though I did ease up and feel fine which is a miracle in the fact there was so many weapons in there he could of cut me up into little pieces!!

We watched BAD BOYS!! I love that film, it totally rocks!! I've only just bought it on DVD myself about a month or so ago. I used to have it on video but my ex stole it so I didn't get to see Bad Boys for ages and love the film so much that I bought it on DVD along with Bad Boys II.

We chatted and laughed and had a good time during the film, I was almost sad when it was time to come home.

* oh before I go any further I must point out what a gentleman Robert is, he opened to car door for me every time I got in it*

So we get home and I put my key in the door but oh wait it won't go in!! So I look and my dad had come home and locked the door and left his key half turned in the lock. I am not one bit pleased so I go to the window and start knocking and the dog starts barking and my dad is asleep in a chair hanging over the edge of it and the dog is barking into his ears yet he doesn't wake up. I then start banging at the front door and the dog keeps on barking but still my dad doesn't wake up!! I then start ringing his phone and I can't hear it ringing so it must be in the kitchen which is no help at all so I carry on knocking.
Then Robert comes and knocks and still my dad doesn't move an inch and is still hanging over the side of the chair looking a little dead!!

After ten minutes I tell Robert to go home but he won't leave me here on my own trying to get in so he stays a while and still I can't get in so he offers for me to stay the night with him. I didn't want to put him out like that, we had only met for a start of, and I felt so bad about having to say yes but I could see my dad wasn't going to wake up so I gave up and went back to Roberts for the night.

So we get back to his house and walk his lovely dog :O) Then once we get back to his house it is time for bed so he takes me up to his bedroom and I tell him I would sleep on the sofa because it isn't fair him sleeping on the sofa but he is having non of it and is being such a gentleman giving up his bed for me but I can't have him down there on the sofa so I say he can stay with me. He asks if I am sure and I am sure I am sure and would and did actually feel much safer having him next to me in bed than I would of been with him being downstairs.

Anyway I didn't get any sleep at all lol.*

I think he nodded off for 30 minutes at first but then I woke him up - naughty me.
He went for a shower at 5ish and then at 6ish we sat and played on his computer before going downstairs at 7:20ish and crashing out in front of the TV.

* A lady never tells so don't even ask what went on in all that time we were awake and as Robert is such a gentleman too he shouldn't tell either. You can come to your own conclusions and they may be right but then again they may be wrong!!

Love of Speed!!

I aint talking about the film either though of course I like the film very much, the second one was rubbish!!

Anyway I was driving yesterday - wooohoo!! I am so picking up bad habits too which is bad so when I start my driving lessons again I will have to sort them out as soon as I can so it doesn't cost me too much!!
Anyway I was driving my dad round yesterday and was loving it, except him annoying me saying I was too close to things :OS We were in a car park and he shouts at me for being way too close to a wall when it was about 15ft away from me :OS

So we drive to salmsbury and for those who love around here know most of the roads there are a 50mph speed limit but who sticks to those anyway? I was doing 70 at one point and I knew I was doing it and I was enjoying driving at that speed and wanted to go faster but of course I couldn't because my dad was sat next to me and when he realized I was doing over 50mph he told me to slow down!! OMG! Then he starts going on about how speed limits are there as a maximum and not a target lol.
Yet people were over taking me at 70mph and he is saying it isn't a bloody target - well I know that but anyway I like speed. I don't go over the speed limit in 30mph areas because I don't feel as confident in those areas and as I haven't passed my test and haven't been through everything yet I feel I should keep it to 30 until I fully know what I am doing. I do find I am not as observant as I should be and that is bad!!

I don't like my dads car to be honest, his clutch is so hard to use and so is the accerlator and I get used to them so of course when I get in a new learning car I can't do it as well as I should be as I have gotten use to being in my dads car. I so can't wait to own my own car to be honest and I say the sooner the better, or well when I have passed my test. I need to decide where I want to have my lessons now as I don't think I will be going back to BSM after the last guy I had who was a total sick pervert.

Anyway that is all I have for now ;O)

Oh my it has been a while ( I am joking either!!)

WOW! Time really does fly as it has been over a month since I posted on here as I do like to post once a week if I can just to keep up with things.

Well since I last posted I have had a fair few driving lessons and as of yesterday my instructor was sacked by me for inappropriate behavior as well as his unprofessional behavior too. It has been going on for maybe 5 weeks (the worst of it) and I have put up with it even though spending time with him really altered my mood and made me unhappy.
I felt bad about saying what has been going on because of course I don't want to get him into trouble because I'm a nice person but there is a point where I can not take anymore and I refused to even though I did find myself sicking up for him and willing to carry on lessons - I'm just glad I haven't because I wasn't getting anywhere fast because he is holding me back!!
So now I can either stay with BSM and pay £44 a week or I can find another driving school and I am looking to see what is around and how much they charge and their pass rate before I completely get rid of BSM. There is this driving school near me that teaches you to learn in brand new minis in the most amazing blue colour and ever since I saw them I have wanted to learn with them but went with BSM but now I will find out how much they are and seriously consider them.

I was on a training course for a while but I was ill a fair lot and I eventually got kicked off because I had more sick days than they allow :O( I did want to stay and I thought I had another couple of days to sort myself and get into the doctors but then I got a letter saying I was being kicked off!! Oh well, so much for that but I must admit it was a very badly run course!!

With being on that course I was out the house 40 hours a week like a full time job so of course I didn't have as much time as I would normally to spend on my course work. I would come home determined to get underway with it but would be too tired and rarely got any study in and I found even on my dad off during the week I was way too tired to do much after my two hour driving lesson. My OU does come first because I have worked so hard on it and I want to carry on and not give in so if it did come down to picking one over the other then the OU would of won and I would of quit the training course so maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I got kicked off because I wouldn't of been able to carry on for much longer!!
So it was pretty rushed here for a while with my course work and I had to rush through a months of course work for A217 and do a TMA in a matter of hours and then I had only a couple of hours to do TMAo6 (my ECA) for DD100 and I think I may of messed that one up though I hope I haven't because I worked so hard on that and got amazing marks/scores.
I just managed to get both in on time and I was so convinced my tma for A217 would of been a fail as I am sure I wrote a load of rubbish as I am sure I didn't take any of the religion in so of course I was shocked and over the moon to discover (yesterday) that I got my highest mark in that course and in any arts courseIi have ever done and to top that off it is a level 2 course so I am very pleased about that :O)
For the ECA for DD100 (tma06) I won't find out if it is a pass or a fail until September and I am not even really thinking about that yet because I don't want to stress myself out over it. I don't know how well or badly I have done, I really do feel as though I didn't write anything I was surposed to do and that I will be lucky to get the score that allows you to resit :O( I will be upset if that is the case but maybe I am just not cut out for Social Sciences.
S103 and AD317 are my next courses and as I am sat here I have the registration forms next to me waiting to be signed and sent in. I haven't done any sort of science for at least 10 years so I do wonder if I could cope with that but then I think that I had never done any Social Science until October last year and I was more than passing on those tmas so anything is possible. I am doing the course to get a certificate in Natural Science and also to add it to my next degree which I think will be an unnamed degree even though I am tempted to get for a humanities with history or just a plain history degree but I shall see what nearer the time and if I ever pass the one I am doing now!!
AD317 is bothreligionn and social sciences so I am having to think long and hard about it now even though I have wanted to do it for well over 2 years now. It is level 3 so it isn't going to be easy and social sciences isn't something I enjoyed but I think DD100 has given me a good background into it so it may of helped me doing that. I just know I need to pass AD317 and I don't want to take it on with doubts because I don't want to waste 9 months on a course to fail. So I will spend a little time thinking that over and maybe ask some friends and family what they think. - I do enjoy religion and am loving A217, I think it helps if you enjoy your course because I really hated A207 last year and I really struggled with that but that also had way too much reading and I just couldn't keep up with it. A207 I did alone too and am so glad I wasn't on another course like I am this year with DD100 even though that course finished last week :O)
I do know that if I take S103 I have to get at least 6 months of course work and tmas out of the way before my level 3 course starts so I can spend as much time as needed on it and I can do that so I think I will be going ahead with S103.

I don't know if I said last time but my mum gave me a brand new digital camera the other week so I couldn't take pictures at the three concerts I have/had tickets for. I also get a pack of CD Roms with it as well as recharable batteries and a charger and I love it though I am still trying to find out how everythingworkedd without reading the book lol.
I have been to two of the three concerts I have/had tickets for and here is a piece out of another blog that I wrote about the Elton John concert:

I went to a Elton John concert last night and it was FANTASTIC. I saw him at the M.E.N. in Manchester and it was a fantastic night!!His opening act was a band called The Storys who were pretty amazing and I will be buying their album after seeing them, their lead singer happens to look like a younger Richie Sambora ;O)Before Sir Elt came on Peter Kaye came on, before we even sawPeterr Kaye we knew it was him as he was stood at the side of the stage saying “one-two, one-two” for ages on the mic and everyorecognizedsed his voice and started to cheer. He was on for about 10 minutes, he was only their for the concert but Sir Elt asked him to come on. He was very funny! The elt came on and rocked, the funny thing is he started off with Bernie and the Jets and that is my dads leafavoriteite song so he wasn’t best pleased lol.
It was great, he played loads of brilliant songs that I knew and enjoyed a lot. It was great and we had good seats and I could see the stage well and was really impressed by it all. My camera played up and I have never used it before so got annoyed with it and gave up taking pictures after about 5 songs. I have had a look and they are really blurred so I am going to try and sort it before I go and see Bon Jovi on Sunday because I wonÂ’t be impressed if I canÂ’t take any pictures of Bon Jovi.
There was a funny bit in the concert when he sang a song about a sex change (can’t remember the name of the song) this massive guy came running along the aisles and tried to get on the stage but he was too big and the stage was only 4 foot high as well. There wasn’t much security around either so he could of got on there if he really tried. Eventually 3 security and 3 staff jumped on him and pinned him to the floor and had to carry him off because he refused to walk lol – what a way to get backstage ;O)Elton didn’t even get phased by that and carried on with the concert without stopping.
There were a couple of times in the concert where he and his band went off on one and just jammed and a couple of those times it got a little boring because they went on too long with them but there were one or two that where really good.Rocket Man last three hours ;O) Well it felt like it because he did it and then when it should of finished they started a instrumental and then went off on one and then the band faded out and he went off on one with his piano and a bit of singing for ages and then went back into the song and the band came back in again and then they went off on one for ages and they faded out and he carried on and then finished or so we thought, we cheered and clapped etc and he started the song again. OMG! It went on for at least 15 minutes and I was glad when that finished lol.
He did all his hits and there was only two songs I didnÂ’t know from his new album. For some of his latest songs like I want love he had the videos of them playing in the background so you could see them which was really cool :O)
There was a point in it where the sound went to pot. He was saying goodnight like they do before they go and come back on and went to sing his last song (which wasnÂ’t really) and it was Sacrifice. He started to song and the sound guy must of switched stuff off for some reason because the piano wasnÂ’t on and the percussion was up too loud so thatÂ’s all we could hear at the front, I donÂ’t know about the back of house sorealized Elton realised the piano wasnÂ’t on and was trying to hint to the sound guy it wasnÂ’t on but he didnÂ’t get the hint until half way through the song when the piano finally came back on. Then his mic got turned up too high and the drums went off lol.
He came back on and did four songs which happened to be the best of the night. He did IÂ’m still standing which got everyone on their feet clapping and singing along and then he did The bitch is back which is brilliant and then he did Saturdays alright for fighting and finished with Your Song which everyone sang along to.
All in all he did 2 1/2 hours and was fantastic and it was worth the money I paid for the tickets. I actually bought the tickets last November for my dad for ones of his Christmas presents and am so glad that he took me.
I got a cool t-shirt and not the program as I am saving as much money as I can for the Bon Jovi concert as I will want a lot of stuff there :O)

It was an amzing night and Peter Kaye was so funny, I would now see Peter Kaye live after seeing him at the Elton John concert because he was very good and of course I would see Elton live again if I have the money next time he tours.

I also had tickets to see Bon Jovi at Milton Keynes on the 11th of June and decided not to go because of time and because I am my father didn't want to be stood up all day so I bought VIP tickets for Manchester and spent a small fortune on them but after going to it I don't regret it and would of paid a lot more for the tickets now knowing what you get. Here is what I wrote about the concert:

As you all know I went to a Bon Jovi concert yesterday. I had VIP tickets that cost me a arm and a leg but I should be able to buy those back soon as I pawned them ;O)
I had the best day of my life yesterday, it was utterly amazing and I would defiantly go VIP again as it was more than worth the money.
We arrived just before 4pm to be escorted into the private entrance which is the big glass entrance at the front of the building. After going through a tight security section we were led inside where we were given VIP wrist bands. We were then directed upstairs. When we got upstairs we got led along these really nice corridors where security and staff were stood the length of the corridors. They were really nice plush corridors that were nicely decorated with nice plush carper on the floors. Then we were led out into the stadium past our VIP seats, there was only three rows of seats :O), and into the the Legends lounge where our names were taken. Then we went to the bar and got a drink. After having a drink I decided I wanted to go and get some mechanise so we went back out the way we came in and went out into the crowds outside. Normally your not allowed out once your in but being VIPS you can do almost anything you want :O)After getting 2 T-shirts, 1 necklace and a program we went back in and I have a Chicken Tikka curry with rice and a mini naan and another drink. Whilst I was eating that the first support act came on and made a racket!! I donÂ’t know who they were and I didnÂ’t care because they were totally rubbish!! The lounge we were in is a glass box so you could see the stage from it but they had the blinds down for privacy which I thought was cool. After another drink I went and got changed into my cocustomizedas I had a customised top made for the concert and didnÂ’t want to wear it there so put it on before Nickleback came on. Then we went and found out seats and watched Nickleback. My dad didnÂ’t really want to see them as he has heard one of their albums I have and didnÂ’t like it but he really enjoyed them and so did I and I think everyone else did and there were some people there only to see Nickleback, in fact there biggest fan was sat next to me.After Nickelback we went back into the lounge and had another drink and then went back out and waited for Bon Jovi.
From the moment they arrived on stage to the moment they left no one sat in their seat!! It was such an amazing show. They did all my fav songs except for These Days and they rocked! The stage was amazing though the pictures I took donÂ’t catch how amazing it looked because my two sets of batteries ran out before it got dark and thatÂ’s when the stage looked wonderful!! They sounded great and it was amazing, they rocked!! In some places the audience sang so loud that we couldnÂ’t hear the music and at one or two points on songs like LivinÂ’ on a Prayer and Bad Medicine the band stopped singing because we were so loud!! :O)
Richie Sambora (guitarist) was completely pssed out of hrealize and I didnÂ’t really realise until he did the song he does on his own which is called IÂ’ll be there for you. JBJ went off and he stood at his mic and all the cameras were on him and he just had that expression on his face that people get when they are so out of it with alcohol. He has his eyes closes and had a massive smirk on his face and couldnÂ’tÂ’[t stand straight!! It was so funny and I found it hilarious and even though he was completely pssed out of his head he still played the guitar amazingly as per usual :O)
JBJ changed outfits at least 6 times and they came on for 2 encores. They did my Fav song second to last “Wanted Dead or Alive”! I just love that song and what made it even more amazing was the fact that he got the audience to sing the first verse and chorus.
That was very funny and cool too because RS is hot but I was drooling, I was just laughing because of how p*ssed he was. I think he had a liquid lunch and tea ;O)
The stage was amazing. It had a big screen in the middle and this design which was like New York and even had pictures of New York building on at one point. The lights were amazing too, I havenÂ’t seen anything like it and wish I had pictures from that point in the show as it looked amazing!! There was also bridges over the audience into a path that went round the edge of the Golden Circle but when JBJ was on there you couldnÂ’t see him because he just blended in with the crowd.
Bon Jovi is now a 7 piece band and have been for over a year, When JBJ was iBryanucing the band he forgot David Byran but remembered at the end and got him 2 standing ovations :op
Another funny part of the show is when they have fans on the stage with them a girl wanted to touch him so bad that she crawled under the legs of someone and jumped up and tried to get over the barrier and hurt herself and JBJ was so worried she was going to fall that he went up to her and gave her a hug and as he walked off she tried jumping over the barrier again and he was singing and he just said “be careful, I’m only human and not worth hurting yourself for”. Hmm not as funny as the two girls in the private loos fighting over JBJ before the concert :oO
I didnÂ’t stop singing or clapping along all the way through and it looked like no one else did either. It was a million times better than Elton John and as I said it was the best day of my life because of the VIP (star) treatment and the great band and then the fantastic band. The show was the best show I have ever seen and I am sad I canÂ’t go and see them again this time as I am dying to go and see them now. I have suffered from the concert though because the girl next to me smoked all the way through (your allowed to in the VIP stand) and my tongue swelled up on one side and my throat did too and that started an hour before the end of the concert. She smoked a full packet during the three hours Bon Jovi were on stage and I wasnÂ’t happy about that because I kept coughing a lot when she was smoking and today all my clothes smelt of smoke.
After the concert we got another drink in the bar and also during the concert my dad got a few drinks, I ended up having 4 pints of pure orange and 3 pints of water during my time there. The let down of the night was the group of people sat in front of us messed around all the way through the concert. They were taking pictures of each other all the way through and werenÂ’t paying any attention of the concert, they were also getting 3/4 drinks each a time and lining them up in front of themselves and knocking them over when they were messing around. Beer and wine went everywhere and they were flashing each other and hanging off each other and it got really annoying at times. I canÂ’t believe they paid all that money for VIP tickets and just messed around the whole time but they did and if they would of been doing that in the normal stands then they would of got kicked out!!
It took well over an hour to get off the car park too which I wasnÂ’t pleased about because it was 12:30 by the time we left the car park and I was desperate for the loo too :o
Anyway I will shut up now, itÂ’s just I had the most amazing time and it will take me a while to come down from it :O)

It was amazing and I would of loved to have gone to another night or two if I could of afforded and I would of loved it even more to have gone VIP to them but it didn't happen. I just hope that I don't have to wait another three years to see them because that is way too long. If I had the money I would fly to the states to see them their this summer but I don't have the money.

The next concert I will be going to see is Billy Joel at the M.E.N. in Manchester, that is about three weeks away now and should be really interesting to see. I hope he is good too and will be able to see if he is as good as Elton because he said that when he used to tour with Elton he used to play him off the stage (as in Elton played Billy off the stage) so we shall see if that is true because we can compare it now we have seen Elton in concert :O)

Anyway I do have more to say and go on about but I am hungry and have a day packed full of course work to be getting on with so I shall save it for another time.
