Rebel Yell
I haven't posted in two weeks, time has certainly flown by.
In the last two weeks I have been studying so hard, I am studying 3-5 hours per day and it is so tiring. People who don't study large amounts like that don't tend to understand how tiring it is for me to study for that amount of time. It isn't tiring on the body but it is very tiring on the mind, sometimes after a long study day I find it hard to have conversations or type because my mind is just numb from studying.
I have done two assignments and at the moment I am working on my third one. All in the space of two weeks, it is a little crazy. All three of them are on three different subjects so that also makes it a little harder for me. I am going from one subject to another all the time, the only exception to that is I am always doing my religion one. My religion course is my main course, it is the highest level and is so much more harder than I expected it to be but it's the highest undergraduate level that you can do so it should be hard I guess.
I got my assignment back for my business studies course the day I submitted the assignment for my business studies course and I passed. That really put a smile on my face because I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would and I am counting down the days until I finish. All that is left to do for my business studies course now is some course work and a end of course assessment (ECA) which is a lot harder than a assignment and takes a lot of time but luckily for me I have around a month left to do it in and I will probably start working on it next week when I have finished the course work.
The Technology assignment took me days to do, much longer than the previous two, so I was relieved when I had finished it and submitted it. I haven't got my mark back in yet but I am sure I will get it some time over the next week. I don't think that i will have done as well as the other two because there is a massive section (worth 30% of the total points) that I didn't quite get. I actually spent the most time on that question too but it was hard and I didn't prepare myself as well as I should of done for the question.
The assignment I am working on now is for my religion course and I haven't even started on the draft because I am going through my course books writing down bits of info so I can then consolidate that and keep the best bits in order to write something from that. From that I will then write some kind of draft before looking through the best bits of material again before working on my draft. I have a assignment plan which I haven't ever had before and I am working so hard on this assignment, this one is the hardest thing i have ever done in my entire life and the question is hard. I am hoping to get a good mark on this, higher than I have got before and I don't know if it is possible but I am working harder than I have ever done and just completed my second day working on the material and I have tomorrow, Friday morning, an hour or two on Saturday, most of Sunday, most of Monday and a some of Tuesday to finish it off. I know that sounds like a long time but it isn't really, I spent three hours today on it and I am nowhere near where I would want to be by this stage.
Well this weekend just gone I treated myself to some Dancing on Ice tickets. i have been wanting to buy these for weeks now and i kept saying I shouldn't buy them because I can't really afford to spend that much money on tickets because they were almost £100. But I love the show and i love how amazing ice dancing looks and even would love to give it a go one day. so after the show finished on TV on Saturday evening i went onto ticketmaster and bought the tickets and they look like pretty good seats too, I have never sat so low down in the stands before so with some luck I will be quite close and get to see the show close up. I am really looking forward to it now and it is only a month away on Friday. I am not used to buying tickets to something that is so soon, when i have bought tickets before they are always months and months ahead of the concert/performance so it is nice to have tickets to something that i don't have to wait too long to go and see.
I was so exited about it that I went online last night and ordered the DVD and CD from last years series of Dancing on Ice and as soon as the DVD for the new series goes on sale (beginning of April) I am going to buy that too.
I have been treating myself a lot lately. I have bought lots of CDs, books and DVDs. I thought I would treat myself because I rarely do it and there is so many CDs and books and DVDs that I want that I thought I would get 15 or so of them. It is nice that I can treat myself now and then because I am working so hard with studying and keeping my dads business on track as well as keeping the house clean and tidy and making sure all the bills get paid.
I even bought a nice watch that is getting delivered to the jewellers shop this week. I can't wait to get it, I already have two nice watched but not one I can wear everyday so I found a really lovely one and bought it. It will be nice to wear a watch because I don't tend to wear one so it will take some getting use to having to put a watch on daily. I did used to wear one everyday years ago so it's just about getting back into the habit i guess.
That's it for now. I am tired now and my arms are aching. Hopefully I will be able to do another blog before the end of the weekend!!
