Last Sunday I managed to get my TMA done though I had a really hard time doing it. I wasn't in the right frame of mind to do it and couldn't get my head into it no matter how hard I tried. At times it was so hard that it would take me an hour (sometimes more) just to write 100 words.
I don't even know what I wrote because I didn't check it at the end because I just couldn't read it no matter how hard I tried. I think my brain was just fried and I may of messed up my TMA but not on purpose but now it is too late to do anything about it. I just hope I pass, I don't know if I will as I probably didn't answer the question, not that I know.
My week last week was very busy and I didn't get much study done or much done in the part of my other plans either because I was so tired going to town and back everyday and walking the dog for up to an hour in the hot sun that when I finally got the chance to do things like study I was too tired or my mind was else where.
I did take Monday and Tuesday off study because I needed a break from Social Sciences but I didn't get much study done after Tuesday so I am not best pleased. Today and tomorrow I will be doing a lot of study because I have lots of things on next week and for the next 9 weeks so I will have to study when I have the time I guess. Now I am just barely coping with all the course work I have so I don't know how I will cope from next week, I guess we will have to see I guess. So that's why today and tomorrow is very important, so I can get as much done as I can but not too much as I don't want to overload my brain and plus I also have other things I need to be getting on with and doing.
I went for my driving lesson on Thursday 11:30-1:30pm and I really enjoyed it. It was amazing though it isn't as easy as it looks when other people are doing it that's for sure.
I have been told I am good and I didn't do any kangaroo driving which I am pleased about. :O) I shouldn't need too many lessons, less than 20 though I might be tempted to go for 20 to make sure that I am 100% ready for my test because I don't want to fail it. I would hate to fail it so I would rather have more lessons than less lessons if it means I pass my test first time.
I decided to have 2 hour lessons, I did think I would get bored in them or my brain wouldn't let me take it all in but it did. I think my brain took more of the driving in than the sitting and listening things - that's really bad but that seems to be the way it is with me.
Yesterday we went to BSM and my dad bought me 10 lessons and that works out at 5 lessons really as I am having 2 hours lessons. I booked three of the five lessons and am going in on Tuesday to book the other two, I didn't know what times or days I could do the other lessons on but I will find out on Tuesday and hopefully I will be available when my instructor is because I don't want to miss a lesson next week.
The other driving related news I have is my dad has put me on his car insurance so I can drive when I am not having lessons. At first I was only planning on a couple of minutes here and there but yesterday my dad really put me in the deep end.
He ended up putting me in the driving seat on a country road which went on for about 2-3 miles and was up hill and down hill with some steep bends and cars following me and I did fine with that and I really enjoyed it a lot.
Then we went onto a busy main road and within a minute I was stopping at tempory traffic lights which was fine and I got away from them without a problem and then passed a mini roundabout and that was great too (seen as I didn't have to stop lol) and then down past a speed-camera which I didn't set off (lol) and then stopped at some lights. Then when it was time to go I stalled the car (OMG!) and had my dad shouting at me which made me panic and I couldn't remember what to do, in the end I got away but it didn't help with my dad shouting at me. Then went up a steep hill and had to stop at the top and then I couldn't get away from there and I think it is because my dad stressed me out with shouting at me so I needed to take some deep breaths and I got away second try. Stopped at some lights and when they went red I crossed onto the busiest road in Blackburn. Passed another mini roundabout all the way down to the turn in down to my house which I did great at till my dad shouted at me again for getting too close to a car (grr him) and then signaled to turn left and forgot to look right before I turned and I was lucky nothing was coming.
What stressed me out was my dad shouting at me, it put me off and I was checking my mirrors as much as I should of and then I didn't look right. Those are things I really need to rectify because not checking my mirris as much as I should is bad but not looking for one coming traffic is bad!!
All in all I think I did fine seen as my dad put me in the deep end like that when I haven't done anything like that in my lessons, next week I am on to junctions which is good because I will get to practice setting off at them and stopping as those are the two problems I had yesterday. Well my stopping is fine but my setting off (only 2 times) was bad and it didn't help being shouted at whilst I am trying to remember what to do.
It hasn't put me off driving but I can't do with being shouted at like that.
Next week I start a nine week admin training course in hope it will help me get a job. I will end up with a reference at the end and something to put on my CV so I am happy about that. I don't know what days or times I am in (hence me not being able to book my driving lessons) but I will find out on Tuesday when I go. Tuesday is Induction Day so hopefully it won't be a whole day thing and then can call across at BSM on my way home and book the two lessons I need to book and hope I can have one sometime next week.
I am looking forward to the training course but I can do 80% of what they are teaching us so I will find lots of it boring I guess. I just hope I have internet access so I can then email people when I am bored. Knowing my luck I won't do and there is nothing I can do about that I guess.
Went to Next again yesterday to take back two of the things I got last week.
I also ended up getting 4 tops and 2 pairs of shoes. The shoes are 1 pair of mule toe-post silver ones that are amazing and wonderful and the other pair are a pair of office-ess pointy-toe shoes that are really nice.
Two of the tops are the same but are in two different colours, they are a V-neck short sleeve t-shirt (really nice could be worn in the office etc). One is a nice blue and one is black. The next top I got is identical to one I have already but in a different colour- it is really nice. I got the other one about a month ago and have worn it a lot and I saw the new colour version of it and had to have it as it is a very comfy and nice top. The last top I got I was going to get in about a months time as I am wearing it to the Bon Jovi concert in June. It is a long line one with a white top detail underneath that ties at the back of your neck, it is nice and is green. I was thinking of getting the blue version but they didn't have my size in so I stuck with the green version.

oooooh
Well I picked up my glasses on Wednesday and I am pleased with them though when I put them on everything seemed to move ten foot closer to me and I was slightly dizzy and felt sick.
Four days later and that all has almost passed, I am nearly use to them and will be in time for my driving lesson on Thursday :O)
Last week I finished TMA04 for DD100 after falling behind and getting ill. The only problem is I am now already 2 weeks behind on the course work for that course and I can't even start on it yet as I have been doing course work for A217 so I can start TMA03 today.
So I should be doing the TMA now instead of sitting here, I have done some but I just can't get my head into it and have already had a 90 minute break ~ will get back to it when I finish this post.
I should be going straight back onto DD100 tomorrow but my brain is fried with all this intense studying I have been doing these last few weeks so I have decided to take Monday and Tuesday off.
I won't be sat around doing nothing all day but I know if I don't have a break I won't get as much done as I could as I am not too motivated at the moment.
So Monday and Tuesday is set aside for other things now and it won't be a easy couple of days just because I'm not studying. I have so much to fit into these couple of days that will keep me more than busy. First of I have a book to finish that has about 200 pages left to read, I am also planning on reading the highway code at least once (2 times if I have the time), also have some accounts work to do that I have been paid for and some other work that I haven't been paid for and will be once I have done them. On top of that I got some books out of the library yesterday to help me with my essay writing skills as I feel they are nowhere near as good as they should be so I will be reading them. I don't know if they will help me get higher points in my TMA's but I got them to improve the my essay writing skills regardless of whether they get me more points or not.
On top of that I have a ton of housework to get through which has been piling up, I do like to do about 30 minutes a day 5 times a week but sometimes that just isn't enough as there are people here that are very messy and untidy.
There are other things that need doing too but it all depends on how quickly I get everything else done, what I have mentioned is the most important things so as long as they are done I am happy! I am not planning on reading all those library books in one day but I am planning on having read them by the time they are due back in three weeks time.
I went to Next yesterday. Oh no! lol . Well the main reason I went is because my dad took a top back last week that I got two weeks before because it had a hole in it. I did tell him to get the same top again but they didn't have my size in so they said go this week and they should have it in.
I walked in Next and saw loads of lovely clothes and I couldn't help myself lol I know I am bad but I went into the nice section first and saw some nice black city shorts and I have wanted a pair of them for ages so I got a pair. They will be good for work and also going out in the evening - very versatile ;O) . To go with them I got an amazing top, it is a wrap top with a vest detail underneath that ties at the back of the neck, it is a great top and hard to describe and looks amazing. Not only will it go with the city shorts but will also go with a lot of other things I have like black trousers and I can also dress it down by putting it with my Next customized denim skirt. I then dragged myself out of the nice section and went into the casual section (it is dangerous having a Next Store Card!!!) and saw loads of amazing things in there too and I couldn't go too mad as 3 weeks ago I spent £70 in there and owe a small fortune on the card. They have loads of great tops in there and amazing jeans and I was going to get a pair till I realized they were identical to the ones I had on (bought from Next .. lol) the only difference was a different belt to belt I got with the ones I have on. I then saw them jeans I like from thecataloguee, slouch jeans with a green belt and I so want them but I promised myself I wouldn't get them till I went down a dress size so I didn't get them. Then I was walking round and saw the most amazing sweat pants, they are an amazing blue, 3/4 length with a ripped hem detail at thebottomm and down the seems and on the back is says 'player' in rough letters ~ they look amazing and I had to have them as they are perfect for summer and a great blue for summer. I then got a double layer vest top, the underneath layer is white and the top layer is blue stripe with the stripes very close in colour. There was so much more I wanted but I dragged myself out of that section up to the bag section and I got the first bag I saw ~ it has woodenhandless and a nice pale pastel stripe pattern with sequins and a flower on. It doesn't sound that good but it looks amazing. I then went into the shoe section to get some shoes for work and to go with my city shorts but I thought I had spent enough for that day so went to the checkout and it was quite cheap. It comes to about £20 per item as it was just short of £100! The City shorts were the most expensive with the bag coming in at second. It was quite cheap and of course If i didn't have that card then I wouldn't of got anything, well maybe one thing and it would of been the top as (black one) as the city shorts weren'tnecessityity.
So today it is TMA day and I really don't want to do it but I don't have any choice :O If I could get away with it I wouldn't do it lol Nah I would do it but I wouldn't do it today, I wish I could of started it last week and finished it today but I couldn't as I had to do all the course work to go with it. So I am not off to do it, it will be ready by tea time as I can't see myself wanting to do more later on.

MELANIE
Melany
She is quiet, secretive and mysterious. Always calm and undemonstrative, she conceals her feelings well. Men find her intriguing, but only the most special ever discover the real person.
Melanie originates from the words in Old French and Latin which derive from the Greek adjective 'melas' meaning 'black' or 'dark'.
16th April is the day that is today of the day that is now! :op
Well I finally got my eyes tested! I was due to be tested at the end of Feb so I didn't go that far over really. I just didn't want to go to the Spec Savers in Blackburn as my family have had bad experiences there.
So I was in the town yesterday and I thought that I would find somewhere to go and book an appointment as I need them done as it is two years since I had them done and also I needed some new glasses.
So I went into Vision Express and I got an appointment there and then and was saw by this girl who was about my age and very funny. I had this thing where to put fast bursts of air into your eyes - three times in each - and she said I might just a little. A little?! I nearly jumped into the ceiling the first time she did it lol
Had my eye test and then she got another girl to help me pick a pair of glasses that looked OK on me as the ones I have now I don't think look good and my dad helped me pick them and he wasn't very helpful.
I tried quite a few pairs on and once I got out of the designer section I found a really lovely pair. Up till then every pair I tried on I didn't like the look of as soon as I saw myself with them on but when I put these on I knew straight away - they looked good! They are a metal frame that is a bronze colour and it goes with my blond hair and my skin tone.
I got them with scratch and glare resistant lenses and I also got a loyalty card too, the loyalty card is in case I break them or damage them in any way I can have them replaced or fixed depending on the damage for free which is good. My card also gives friends and family 10% off their glasses which I thought was good. The card cost £20 and lasts two years so value for money really if I break them because £20 is a lot cheaper than having to buy another pair if I break them.
They stock lenses there but didn't have mine in for one of my eyes as it goes slightly higher than what they stock so I have to pick them up oWednesdayay after 1pm I think she said. I am in town (area) at 12:30 for an appointment on Wednesday anyway so I can call into the town centre on my way back home :O)
So now I had my eyes tested and got new glasses I now can have my driving lessons as I was waiting until I got my eyes tested and got new glasses before I had my lessons.
So on the way home from town we called at BSM and I booked my first lesson which is a two hour lesson, I have that a week on Thursday which will be the 29th April. I did say I would have my first lesson at the end of this month or the beginning of next month and it looks like I was right :O) Though I couldn't book my lesson until I had my eyes tested so I am glad I had them tested yesterday.
I am really looking forward to my lesson now and have just over a week to prepare for it, I'm going to do that by reading through the Highway Code a couple of times because it will be helpful to be prepared and know as much about the road and the rules and everything. I have read the book once before but I can't remember a lot of it but it is basically common sense a lot of it.
I won't be taking my theory test until a few weeks before I take my driving test, I decided that a few weeks ago as I was going to take that first but I thought the best thing to do is to have some lessons as I will learn more things at the time of learning to drive.
I am so excited about my lesson but I am very sure that I will be a bad of nerves just before I go on my lesson. I think I will be excited until the day of my lesson and then all of a sudden I will get very nervous about it but I won't be nervous for too long as my lesson is at 11:30am-1:30pm so if I get up at 8am I will only be nervous for 3 1/2 hours lol.
The next week is going to be very busy for me.
I fell really far behind on my course work yet again as again I was ill so I missed sending a TMA in which I have aextensionon for until the end of next week so that means it has to be done by Wednesday at the latest to make sure that it gets there on time.
Not only do I have to do that but I have four weeks of course work and a TMA for my religion course to do by a week today so it can be posted next Monday.
So this week is going to be very busy and maybe a little bit stressful for me and to be honest I will be really happy when my Social Sciences course finishes in June because I haven't enjoyed it as much as I thought I would.
I'm going to be working on my DD100 tma today, I did starThursdayay but had to give up after a couple of hours because my head was banging :O(
So today I have set aside a big chunk of the day so I can try and get it done. The question is really hard and I think I finally get it after reading through it a lot but now I need to go over a lot of the course work and make some notes for the TMA. I can't remember a lot of it because I did a lot of the course work before I was ill so it has gone out of my head. I am hoping to have done about 70% of it today and do little bits of it over the next few days.
The Religion I am doing this month is Hinduism and it is interesting but a lot harder to grasp than Islam. I am enjoying this course so far and I am glad I picked this course but ask me in a few months if I still feel the same, I hope I do but it will be interesting to see if I still am.
The TMA this month has a choice of three questions to pick from and I am going to pick the one I feel I can reach the word limit with and not the easiest one. I will see when I finish all this course work. I am hoping to have that finished by Friday so I can maybe start my TMA next Saturday after I have done the shopping, I won't get much done but maybe I will get some kind of structure done.
I passed my second TMA for A217 with flying colours though I didn't get a better mark than my first tma. I was hoping to get 1% more but I didn't. I hope this month to get 1% more than my last mark, it is something to aim for I guess.
I haven't read my tutors comments for the last one yet, I never really do and I know I should so just before I start my TMA (for A217) I will look through what my tutor said about my last TMA as I am sure it will be helpful. I did read the first line of it and I was getting told off for not doing a bibliography so I will remember to do one of those this time.
Right I guess I better go then, I need to wash up and get the washing out of the washer and then I shall do an hour on my TMA. :O)

Hmm
Well since my last post I have been ill, had a visit off someone famous (well my town did) , fell behind on course work and forgot to do a TMA as well as other things.
Last week I had a banging headache and a really high temperature that made me feel dreadful all week and it finally went on Monday (the 3rd) to return slightly today which I am not pleased about.
I fell behind on my course work with being ill last month and I never caught up on DD100 before getting ill last week.
I knew I had a TMa coming up for that course and thought it was next week so I was very shocked when I found out that it was due yesterday. I emailed my tutor straight away and explained I have been ill and totally forgot and asked for a extension on the TMA, I haven't heard from him yet.
I have started catching up on the course work today in hope of getting an extension and now I am really behind on my other course and have a TMA due for that in 3 weeks time with 5 weeks of course work to get through. I can't start on that till I have done the course work for my TMA for DD100 and the TMA.
It is going to be tough but hopefully I will get through it!
Condi came to town and I don't know why. Why bring her here of all places? I still don't understand this. My dad described Blackburn as a "ex mill dump of a town" and in many ways he is right. It isn't the nicest town and he took her to some pretty run down parts of Blackburn when she was here. I guess the nicest two places were Blackburn Rovers Football Ground and the Cathedral, the rest are run down places. Someone said why not take her to Skipton? It is so much nicer there so maybe he should of done, I don't think she was too impressed to be honest and everytime I saw him on the news he just annoyed me with his A** Licking because that is what he was doing with her, Sorry if you don't like that but it is how I saw it and still see it to this day.
I didn't have a problem with her being here, I saw people on the news saying that "no one" wants her in Lancashire but no need to speak for me on that subject because I wasn't bothered about it and was happy to have her here! They should of shown the clips of the other 95% who wanted her here and didn't have a problem with her being here.
I was pretty impressed by her as I watched her in the press conferences and they on the Jonathan Dimbleby thing on the Sunday. She is a very intelligent woman who doesn't avoid the questions like politicians do and I personally think that she will make a very good president one day and think she should run for it in 2008.
