Here is a catch up of what I have been up to in the last week or so, a day by day account. I probably won't remember everything from each day but I will give it a go anyway.
Sunday 11th Feb
I was feeling much better today after not being very well for a week. I was so tired (still) but I had a little more energy than I had for the past few days anyway. I slept till lunch time and I know that probably seems late but i only got 9 hours sleep so I didn't get loads of sleep like I would of liked. I managed to get some of my course work for my business studies course done but not as much as I could of done. I was in a lazy mood and being tired didn't push me into wanting to work too hard today.
The main thing I managed to do was finish the book I was reading so I am now ready to get back to reading Memoirs of a Geisha.
Monday 12th
Today I am still a little tired but determined to get back into a routine regarding course work. I was meant to start doing more of my religion course today but I only got about an hour of that done. I then spent about 3 hours on my business studies course today and well over an hour doing house work. To top that off I read some more of the 'essay' book I am reading as well as starting Memoirs of a Geisha again - I read about 2 chapters of that this evening.
Tuesday 13th
Today I needed to get more study done than I managed yesterday so I did another three hours of my business studies course as well as 2 and a half hours of my religion course. I did want to do more but my brain wasn't taking anything in at that point so I gave up for the evening and read a couple of pages of my 'essay' book before reading some more of Memoirs of a Geisha.
Wednesday 14th
Today my new desk chair arrived and I assembled that. I ordered it Monday night along with a brand new desk for me to study at. I don't have a good place to study so I treated myself to them and I can't wait to have my own desk with places for a computer and books.
As well as that I did about 90 minutes on my business studies course and about 90 minutes on my religion course. I read more of Memoirs of a Geisha (which I am really getting into right now) and more of my religion course. I spent some time this evening doing house work and sorting some things out around the house.
Thursday 15th
2 hours of religion course work started my morning off today, then about 20 minutes of business studies followed by a chapter of Memoirs of a geisha. In the afternoon I did some house work and then did another hour on religion before reading two more chapters of memoirs of a geisha. I did some washing and then spent a fair few hours in front of the TV chilling out this evening. Then me and my dad started to make up my new desk (which arrived during the afternoon). I wasn't feeling too well like I was coming down with my usual illness but I took something for that and drank lots of water whilst helping my dad with the desk. After two hours we completed one part of the desk and gave up on it was it was way after 10pm at this point. I then watched some more TV before having a late night shower before bed.
Friday 16th
Got up early this morning on about 6 hours sleep, felt much better than I did the evening before except for tiredness. I left the house just after 9am and went to town and picked up some shopping for dinner in the evening. I then went to my bank and checked my bank balance before making my way home. Once home I messed on the computer for an hour before getting stuck into some business studies course work - once I had done an hour of that I had some lunch and then did an hour of religion. I then spent most of the afternoon (what was left of it) on the Internet finding out all kinds of information for my dad as well as doing another hour of my religion course work.
The evening just involved me chilling out and going to bed late.
Saturday 17th
Had about 8 hours sleep, woke up when my alarm went off and wanted to sleep all day but couldn't. I let the dog out and went and had a lovely warm showing before moisturising and dressing and coming downstairs and watching some TV till about lunch time. Then I went and dried my hair and did my make up and waited for my dad to get home from work with my lunch. There was no food in so I couldn't even have breakfast so I was very happy to see the tasty sandwich my dad had brought home for me. Once I had that we went shopping, first to town where my dad went to Republic and got some amazing clothes, then food shopping. I went to my favourite shop after that because I need (or probably want lol) a new bag but they didn't have anything in I wanted so I left NEXT empty handed - Miss Bignell your eyes do not deceive you, I really left empty handed although I did look at the clothes on the way past but my dad was walking out fast because he knew if he slowed down we might be in there a while ;o) hehe.
Finally got home about dinner time and filled my face with junk food so didn't want my dinner for a few hours. I then sat and watched dancing on ice which I just love, it makes me want to learn to ice skate so bad but I am so scared of ice skating I don't know if I will ever have the bottle to go.
Sunday 18th
Was so tired this morning, yeah morning - I managed to get up before the afternoon but only by 20 minutes. It took me about 90 minutes to get into doing anything but I spent a few hours finishing off my course work for B120 so I could start my assignment tomorrow. I also did about 90 minutes on my religion course before doing a little house work and some reading of my 'essay' book and then ended up reading three chapters of memoirs of a geisha before spending some time in front of the TV.
Monday 19th
Today I started on my assignment for my business studies course which is due tomorrow. I did a few hours during the day and then in the evening I did some more work on it. I also did about an hour of religion and a little house work. I was in such a lazy mood today and didn't get much done at all but I managed to get a start on the assignment and that is the main thing.
Tuesday 20th
I was so tired when my alarm went off this morning, I didn't want to get up but I forced myself out of bed and drank a can of diet coke to help me wake up. Got started on my assignment once again and then did some research in my course book before coming back to it and finishing it quite fast before moving onto the second part of the assignment which took me 15 minutes.
I did 2 hours of religion this afternoon and some house work and brushed Lucky as he had a 5pm appointment at the vets this evening to have his claws trimmed. He has been having trouble running with my dad and we worked out that it was because they were too long and hurting him so I said we had to have them done so he got booked into the vets and went and had them done and was a good boy too and let the vet do them.
This evening I finished off the last few things on my assignment and submitted it about ten minutes before I started writing this blog. I also got my ECA questions off the site too as they have just been made available. I probably won't look at them again now for a week or two.
Tomorrow I will be doing religion and technology course work as well as house work and some work for my dad. It's going to be a busy day and week really and I can't see it slowing down anytime soon. I have a CMA (computer marked assignment) to work on Tomorrow and thursday for my technology course (it's due Thursday) and hope to have all my course work done for my course by Monday so I have three days to work on my assignment.

~KARMA~
Saturday 3rd Feb 2007 I went out for a meal with some of my family for my brothers 30th. There was meant to be more of us there than there was but my other brother (Barry) couldn't afford to go with his family.
I had a shower in the afternoon and did my hair and make up and I knew I probably wouldn't have time to do it in the evening as I still had to go out and do a bit of food shopping when my dad got home.
My dad didn't get home till about 6pm so we had to change what time the meal was from 7:30pm until 8:15pm otherwise we wouldn't of made it in time. My brother was OK with that.
We didn't even get to leave the house until going up for 7pm so it was a good job the time was changed. We went to the supermarket and picked a few things up and then had to rush home as we had twenty minutes to get ready and leave and my dad needed to shower in that time. Luckily for me I only had to change my clothes (put my new outfit on) and just put some more product in my hair and get a bag out for the evening. So I was ready pretty fast for once and then found my best (on my top) kept sliding undone because of the material so I had to pin it but when I sat down it kept pinging out so I had to go without it pinned and had to keep adjusting it which was a pain.
I drove us there and parked up in a side street next to the restaurant and went inside. We went to: http://www.misterfus.co.uk/ and found my mum and step dad. My brother hadn't turned up and had rung my mum to say they had got lost. They were coming from about 8 miles away to Blackburn and they got lost, I don't know how they managed that but they did. My dad then rung my brother and gave him directions for my brother to ring back still lost.
We then got showed to the table and sat waiting for my brother, in the end my dad had to talk him through the directions as his friend Zoe drove them to the restaurant. It took forever and I was getting pretty hungry, well everyone was.
They eventually turned up and my niece had come too so another place had to be set at the table.
Then we eventually ordered our food and I couldn't wait to have it but it took forever to arrive, we finally got our starters around the same time as everyone got their main course. Me and my dad had a platter between us and found some parts of it were cold so my dad ended up complaining about that and got the price of the platter taken off the bill. Everyone then finished their meals and we were sat waiting for our main course, I think we ended up waiting over 40 minutes in total for it to turn up and then stupid me put a mouthful of chopped chilli's in my mouth. I think it was a combination of being tired and hungry as I would never have done that but I did and it burnt like hell and just before we had gotten our meals are glasses had been taken as we ordered more drinks so there was no drinks on the table and my step dad grabbed a glass of water of a empty table - I really needed that. Once we finished we sat around waiting for ages and ages for the bill, we asked for it three times and in the end my dad had to go and ask the manager for it and said if we didn't get it that time we would walk out without paying. Needless to say he came back with it.
My dad and I then worked out how much our bit of the bill came to and put the money on the table, my mum and step dad did the same which left the remainder of the bill for Duncan, Zoe and Katie. Zoe then sat criticising the bill after working out that Katie's part of the bill came to more than any ones (she had ordered more than anyone else and wasted more than anyone else). My brother then said he would pay for Katie and then get the money back off my other brother. Zoe then said she didn't see why they had to pay more than half of the bill when there was only three of them and four of us. That made me angry because she was saying we should pay more of the bill even though we didn't have any of that stuff on it, she was out of order because we should only pay for what we had. Duncan then put money for his and Katie's in and then Zoe put some in and took a third of Duncan's out and passed the money to my dad and of course the bill was short because of Zoe. So my step dad put in 2/3s of what was missing then my dad put the remaining third in and I thought that was out of order and said so when he got up to pay the bill. Zoe just sat there being ignorant and snorted "we will wait outside, come on" and took Duncan and Katie with her. He attitude just got to me, I can't stand her most of the time anyway as she acts as though the world revolves around her but I just ignore her and don't let her get to me but that was plain rude and wrong because she said she would pay for Katie but when it came to it she didn't and thought we should pay the majority of the bill. My step dad said words to those effect when they left. We then got our things together and went and waited outside for my dad because it was noisy and smokey in there. As soon as we went outside those three left and we had another moan about Zoe and her attitude before Dave and my mum dropped me and my dad off at home.
I didn't feel well when I got in, I had a headache and I was very thirsty and it was from the smokers in the restaurant. They were allowed to smoke at the bar and three hours of sitting in that restaurant was horrible with the smokers in there and I didn't feel well at all. I was sat up till 3am drinking lots and taking painkillers. Then when I went to bed I was up and down most of the night drinking because I was so dehydrated. The next morning I didn't want to get up but I had to ( I left it as late as I could) because we didn't have time to do all our shopping the day before and had to go and do a full shop that afternoon before the shops shut at 4pm. I felt rough and took painkillers and had plenty of water to drink, my stomach was in knots and I felt so sick. Walking round the supermarket there was a few times when I thought I was going to throw up which wasn't a nice feeling to have. I felt like that most of the day and drank more than I do in 3-4 days. So I got nothing done and I had so much planned like assignments and catching up on course work etc but I just didn't feel up to anything at all.
Monday I was super tired all day so just got bits of stuff done around the house.
Tuesday I finally managed to start my new course but I didn't get much done, maybe half an hour. I did plan on working the whole day but I just couldn't motivate myself to get anything done.
Wednesday I was resolved to get so much done. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon doing things for my dads running club and having a bit of a catch up with Caroline. I managed to get an hours done of my new course which really is nowhere near enough. It is hard going I can tell you as I have three books on the go and a CD and you will read one thing in one book and then it tells you to read something in another book and then once you have read that you have to go back to the original book and then read something in that and then you have to flick to a reading in another section of that book and read that and flick back to the original bit and read some more of that before reading something out another book. It is so tiring and such hard work and at the moment I don't have anywhere proper to study. The table is full of stuff and when it isn't we don't have any chairs that I can sit in for a long time and study as they are uncomfortable and give me back ache. I can't sit at this desk and study for long because this chair gives me back ache because this desk is too high (I'm sat here now typing and it is hurting my shoulders and I can't wait to move) so once again I can't sit here for too long. Up till now I have been reading sat on my sofa in the other room but I have found that I can't do that for long periods of time because I get back/neck/shoulder ache and I am needing to be studying up to three hours most days and am lucky if I can manage 90 minutes that way. Plus the books I am using at the moment are 4 times heavier and thicker than the books I am used to so I am lucky if I can do 30 minutes of holding them. I can't write notes or anything else really so it's a right pain so I need to get something where I can sit and study for up to 3+ hours a day.
I started to feel unwell this evening and went to bed not feeling well at all.
Thursday I woke up feeling worse. I had what I used to get a lot last year which is a temperature, headache and very thirsty but it isn't really a cold but I end up feeling dreadful anyway. It didn't help that it is so cold at the moment. So I am sat around with more layers on that normal and am sweating in places but am cold in other places so must stayed wrapped up! My head was banging and I was thirsty all the time. Lucky for me I keep some Day/night Nurse capsules in case I do get ill and I was able to take them but I didn't feel at all well so nothing got done at all and when I went to play DVDS my DVD player is now telling me that every disc I put in is a "BAD DISC" and that is annoying me as I haven't even had that player for 6 months yet - I wonder if it is still under warranty?!!
Friday I had a restless night the night leading into Friday. I drank so much that I was waking up at least once an hour to go to the bathroom. Then I woke up about 5am and was awake for two hours which just annoyed me. I ended up getting up around 8am even though I just wanted to lie in bed but I was sick of the amount of times I was waking to go to the bathroom. I left the house just after nine am and went to town and it was so cold outside. I only had a t--shirt on under my coat which would normally be enough as my coat is nice and warm but the cold air was blowing up my sleeves and making me cold. It was a little icy on parts of some paths but I avoided them so I could walk with my hands in my pockets so the cold couldn't go up my sleeves. It was so cold, my face was freezing even though my scarf was covering up to my lips, my lips were so cold and my ears and my legs.
I went to the supermarket to try and find some rice wine vinegar for the dinner that evening but couldn't find any so I had to buy something to have that evening. Then I visited my bank and came home and the walk home took my longer than normal as I had no energy from being ill. It was sure nice to walk into a nice and warm house because I was frozen and had to turn the fires up as it wasn't warm enough for me. I wasn't up to any study so spent most of the day sorting things out for my dads running club. I had my dinner for my lunch also and then read a little before my dad came home in the evening.
Saturday (today) I woke up and was so tired, lack of sleep and being ill being the main reasons for that. I eventually went and showered and got ready and managed to do it in record time which I am proud of. I then went to town with my dad and paid £120 off my Next bill and got a couple of things in BOOTS before we left and went up to Asda. - There is a new bridge being built at the moment and loads of the roads are being closed and lots of roads being made into one lane and we found that they are directing some traffic in and round the Asda Car park which of course made it hectic. In the Car park they had made it one way and closed off half of it so it can be drove round. It took a while to get parked, we then did the shopping and had to get in the queue of traffic that took us round the car park at least twice before it eventually let you get in the lane to leave the car park - it was chaos and took us almost an hour to get off the car park. Asda is normally packed inside but it was mega quiet and it was because of all the traffic in the car park and there isn't much parking space either. They are going to lose so much money until it is sorted out.
Came home, unpacked and then went out with my dad to do some things for the running club, came back and had a wonderful dinner and spent most of the evening in front of the TV and did a little reading and now doing this and once this is done I shall make a hot water bottle and go to bed and read till 1am. -(it's 00:10 now and i have been typing this for about half an hour now)-
I hope to sleep to lunch and feel a lot better in the morning. With some luck I will feel so much better and will then be able to start my final block of my business studies course. I should of started it three weeks ago and now have a week to do 4 weeks of course work and a assignment. I hope I can do it, I will have to motivate myself and get myself sorted out. I just hope I don't get any worse illness wise otherwise I am in deep trouble.
Also hope to get some more of my technology course done as I haven't done any for a couple of weeks and can't remember some of what I have done so will probably have to go over it when I work on the assignment. I have a workbook to work my way through and then with some luck get my assignment started next month as well as the CMA.
I hope to finish the book I am reading tomorrow and then get some more of 'Memoirs of a Geisha' read as I started that last year and put it down after a chapter as it isn't my sort of book but I want to read it.
Need to get my act together with my new course too as I am already behind but I just have nowhere to study because of the thickness of the books I am in pain after such a short time.

Long Night
Well this week I haven't got as much done as planned...I don't know why but I can't seem to motivate myself as much as I want to. I think I am at a stage where I just need a break from studying and doing assignments and my brain is forcing me to be lazy and not get as much done but it isn't a good time for that right now.
The week did pick up for a couple of days were I got a fair bit of course work done as well as finishing The Arts Good study guide this afternoon. Now I just need to finish the other book I got to help me with my essay writing, I did start it but didn't get much of it read so with some luck I will finish it in a week or so.
So AA307 - my Religion course - officially starts tomorrow but I won't be starting on it until Monday because I just have so much to get done in the next two days. First of all I need to finish off the course work for T175 (Technology course) and then start on the assignment on Sunday. I don't plan on getting it all done but I just want to work my way through the questions and have a look at them and start on some of them at least.
Sunday is also the day for my to start the forth and final block of B120 (Business Studies course) and I am sure by the end of the day I have be at least a third of the way through that block. I shouldn't be working through it as fast as that but there isn't too much to the course work which is nice and also I am not enjoying it too much right now. I am still waiting for my results for the third assignment but I don't hold my breath for getting them back anytime soon because my tutor seems to take forever in marking them which is a pain.
The last week or so I have been busy helping out my dad with things for his running club. I have helped get a team together for a 47 mile off road race this weekend. It was hard to get a team together because there is a lot or injured and busy people and then I had to find a leg of the race that each of them were willing to run and that was a pain but I managed to get a team together. I then had to print them all a set of race directions as they have to go out and work their way around the route before the race because it's off road so there isn't any markers or anything so they have to learn the route. I then had to sort out a set of rules for each of them as well as other things and that took ages. This is the race:http://www.penninebridlewayrelay.co.uk/
Then for the running club has a 10K race coming up two weeks on Sunday so I have been putting entries on the computer and then sorting out their numbers and information and posting it back to them and that is very time consuming. I will be glad when they race is over as I am sure I will have plenty to do this week for my dad with entries and what not.

The rest of the past week I have just been sorting things out around my house and tidying up. I have sorted out my CDs and put a list of CDs/DVDs/books on the computer and have loads of old singles I need to get rid of, I might put them on ebay as a job lot. Even if I don't get much money for them I don't mind as I will be making more room in my house for other things as it is rather packed.
I bought myself a new outfit for this weekend. I am going out for my brothers 30th and wanted a nice new outfit to wear. I have been working hard lately and i thought I would treat myself to something from Next as it is my favourite shop and I haven't gotten anything there for about 3 or 4 weeks lol. I have been treating myself on CDs and Books and DVDs for the past 5 weeks anyway but I just wanted something to go out in because I seriously don't have many things I can go out in. So I did need it and I didn't just buy it for the sake of buying something. I just hope it looks as good on me as it does off me haha....I don't mean that how it sounds. I mean it looks like a nice outfit and I love it so I hope it looks nice on me too :o)
So yeah I start my new course on Monday and I am nervous about it because it's been so long since I have worked on a Humanities course because it was last August time when I stopped doing stuff on the course I did last year and I have been studying since but not an 'arts' subject. I have been doing really small word limits too so going back to doing 2-4000 words limits is going to be a challenge. On top of that it's the highest level at undergraduate level so I am nervous about if I can cope with that level, I also want to get a certain grade so I can get the degree classification I want without having to do extra courses to get my grade I am wanting.
It will be a busy two weeks but I am sure once I am into it I should be fine and with getting the final assignment out of the way for my business studies course I will have space time for about a month (spare time as in an extra hour or so a day) until I get my final thing for the course which I will have about four weeks to work on.
I will also be ahead by 5-6 weeks on my technology course because the assignment I am working on over the next few days isn't due until March which is good because I can have a week or so away from that course and still be ahead when I go back to it.
Right that's an update, I didn't leave it as long this time which is good as I can remember more when I write them more often.
