A New Day Has Come

20 days since my last blog, I really need to get on top of keeping up with these but I guess that 20 days is better than 2 months.

I've had at least 3 driving lessons since my last blog and things are slowly and finally coming together. I may not like some of the things we do but I love the three point turn, which I haver got down to a fine art, my general driving skills are getting better and better but there are still a few issues which I need to work out for myself. I have a lesson on Wednesday, this week, a lesson next Tuesday and then two lessons the following week. Then it will be the week before my test, my driving instructor said he'd only need to take me out once but it's up to me how many I have that week. I'd love to have ten....lol. I really would, I wish I could have ten but I'm going for at least 2, I'd like three ideally but we shall see how things progress on the next few lessons.

I went out for a pre-birthday meal on Saturday with the three parents. We ended up going down to the Ribchester Arms and having a really good meal. It was nice, I wasn't content with eating my own, I was trying my dads starter and mains too. I had prawn cocktail starter, which I'd give 7/10, followed by the minted lamb shoulder which I'd give a 9.5/10 and I finished with one of my all time fave desserts, Banoffe pie which I'd give 9/10. All in all it was a really nice meal.
I got a couple of presents off my mum and Dave (Step Dad) which they made me open in front of them even though I wanted to wait for my birthday. One was a present and the other was a birthday present. The present was a really nice small black bag which is perfect for the evening or just in the day time if I only want to take a couple of things out with me....it's a swanky bag because it came with it's own dust bag. My birthday present was a really nice silver necklace, it's really hard to explain but the pendent was a circle inside a bigger circle, it's really nice although the chain is slightly shorter than I like so I'm going to get myself a longer one.

I went out for my high school reunion on the 11th Oct and that was a night to remember and forget because I drank so much that I was ill for a week. A record there - a week long hangover. It wasn't at all fun and I was so ill I almost choked to death on sick, which I was doing for 4 hours straight. Anyway I don't need to go into too much detail about that but I know I won't drink as much again.
The reunion was good, it was nice seeing some old faces and it was shocking how many people remembered me. Mel Clark didn't turn up and let me down and I think she thought I wouldn't go but I wasn't missing it and I was surprized to find that more people remembered me than her. I don't think she'd like to know that but it's so true.
Anyway I think we are having a second one in six months time and Mel will probably turn up to that one.

I'm sat here listening to Celine Dion's new album, which came out today. I wouldn't say that I was her number one fan but I liked the track listing of this album so I decided to go out and treat myself to it today because I went to get an album for Dave's birthday. I got him Daniel O'Donnels new album. I don't know if he will like it but I am hoping he does.

My computer is being a total pain in the arse at the moment. I will be sat here typing away or browsing the net when it turns itself off. Plus I can't upload any CDs to the computer because as I start the process it turns the computer off so as you can imagine it is a total nightmare. I want to put songs on my iPod for weekend but I don't have the songs on the comp so I can't put them on so I am going to try and download iTune onto my dads computer (my iTunes with luck) and try and sort it that way. Hopefully I can because there is about 13 albums in front of me waiting to go on iTunes and then onto my iPod.

I'm away Friday till sometime on Monday. I am looking forward to it because to be honest it will be nice to get away from here for a few days. I'm planning on going for a meal and for drinks on the Saturday because its my birthday but Lyndsey (who I'm going with) wants to go clubbing and invite someone but no one can stay in the place we are staying, other than us, so she was pissed off about it but I couldn't care less because I honestly didn't want someone with us who I didn't know and I'm not willing to get kicked out of the place we are staying because of someone else.

Anyway that's all for now but I will be back soon :o)
