Well I thought it was about time that I did a blog about Easter before I forget what I got up to.
It was so strange having Easter so early this year, it’s normally Mother’s Day the weekend that it was Easter so it didn’t feel quite right but I’ll get over it
The Friday I didn’t do too much other than chill out. I was determined not to do any work so I treated it like a weekend and just did nothing really. The Saturday was the same old day which involves shopping normally but this time we also went up to JTF and got some things that we’d actually gone for. On the way back we passed the Preston Asda so we decided to do our shopping there instead of going across to Accrington like we’d been doing. I am so glad we went to the Asda there because I’ve never seen such a big supermarket in my whole life. Inside this Asda they have their own McDonalds, Thorntons, Photo Shop, Opticians and other shops in the actual Asda which I though was pretty cool. Not only that but their entertainment section (TVs, DVDs etc) was like the size of a shop and the George was like the size of two shops and the rest of the shop was also massive (heaps bigger than normal Asda’s). To top all that off they also have three bus stops outside the shop and a car wash and a petrol station so it’s massive.
On the way home we went to the pub for a couple of drinks and I played on the quiz machine at ’Deal or No Deal’ which I love playing and of course I won a little money too. I ended up having my tea (dinner) there becauser it was like £1.80 for sausage, chips and a roll which is cheap.

The Sunday I wanted to go out somewhere but I didn’t have any idea where so even as we were setting off driving we didn’t have any idea where we were going to go. We went to the motorway and had McDonalds and as we sat there eating we decided to go to Blackpool for a few hours. It’s been years since I’ve been to Blackpool so I was kinda looking forward to going and taking some piccys. When we got there, there wasn’t many people there which is strange for a bank holiday but as soon as we got out the car we knew why - it was freezing!! I only had a really long cardigan type thing with me so I was very cold and after 30 mins of walking we turned back for the car so only stayed there for an hour. It just got to the point where I couldn’t feel my face or my fingers and I had Lucky with me so I couldn’t go in anywhere so we thought it was best to get back to the car and get home but then we took the wrong turn and ended up walking even longer to find the car. I was so happy to get back to the car and get the heater on. It must of taken the whole journey back to Blackburn for me to get warm again.
We ended back in the pub once we got back to Blackburn with me playing on the quiz machine. We didn’t have much cash on us so after 3 drinks we had enough for only one drink for me and a packet of crisps so I went on the quiz machine with my last 50p and won enough money to buy us both another drink and still have some money left over which was good. I also ended up eating curly fries and a sponge pudding while I was there.
So there was my weekend. The Monday I ended up giving the house a bit of a clean and went through all my stuff and started to get rid of all the things I don’t need or want anymore and some of it I sorted out to go on Ebay to earn myself a little moola.
