WOW! It has been two weeks since my last blog, it always seems to fly these days but then again I haven't been online much for almost a week now as I've been ill yet again.
I don't even know what I have done since I last posted a blog other than spend a lot of money I don't have, it's going to take me months and months to get enough money together to pay off the money I used to buy a lot of things that I've bought over the last couple of weeks.
Well what have i bought? I could say, what haven't I bought?!! Well first off I spent £200 on 4th row tickets to see Meat Loaf on the 12th May at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester. I am very much looking forward to that. I also just spent £120 on trains down to London in June, I also paid a deposit on the place I will be staying when I am in London. On top of that I have been buying numerous CDs, the most expensive being the bon Jovi box set that arrived today - that cost me £30 but it was originally £50 so I save some money on that. I've been buying little things here and there and loads of clothes, I must have spent at least £400 on clothes if not more and they are all on store cards and credit cards and it all needs paying off. But the most expensive thing I have bought has to be the Bon Jovi tickets I spent £450 on. These are the most expensive things I have bought EVER! Last year I spent £350 on Bon Jovi V.I.P. tickets but this really tops that!!
I just have been on a spending mission and have been spending like crazy. I still haven't paid off my Dancing on Ice tickets or my new mobile phone so I really need to cut down on this crazy spending and start paying off these bills. I want to pay them off as fast as I can so then they don't get bigger with the credit cards adding more on etc. I also want to save around £400 spending money for my trip to London (details about that below) so I won't be spending much on myself for the next 2 months and then after that I won't spend much until all the bills are paid.
LONDON
Well I am going to London on the 22nd to the 25th June for 4 days and I am looking forward to it. The main reason I am going is because of Bon Jovi. They are playing at the brand new arena - O2 on the 24th and I thought I might as well go for a long weekend because I've never been to London so I want to spend a couple of days having a look around and doing the tourist thing.
Anyway I didn't have any tickets to see Bon Jovi because they sold out in 1 minute so I was forced to go on ebay and find some and they were £450 and I don't have them yet because the person who bought them don't have them yet (no one do) so I won't be happy until I actually have those tickets in my hand.
I am staying in central London at Waterloo and I am looking forward to it all, I don't know what I am going to go and see when I am down there but I will decide before then.
The only thing I know I am doing for sure is meeting up with Caroline. We are going to see a West End Show (don't know which one yet) and are having a meal. I am looking forward to that because I haven't seen Caroline since October so it will be nice to see her again even if it's just for one evening (I'm hoping to go and visit her in the summer). So that and the concert are my only concrete plans at the moment.
Meat Loaf
I love Meat Loaf, I've listened to his music since I was a young child and love Bat Out of Hell. So I wanted to see him live and as the concert got closer and closer I didn't know if I would be going or not. I started to look for tickets on ebay and I found some on the 4th row that I wanted. I thought about it for a day and I bought them. They cost me £200 and I am hoping that they will be worth it. I will see what it is like to be so close to the stage. I just hope that the stage isn't too high and I'm not spending my whole night looking up and getting neck ache. I'm hoping we are allowed to go right up to the stage and maybe see him close up etc. That would be cool but I don't know if that is going to happen, I will post all details of the concert within a week of it happening.
course Work
I have an assignment to do tomorrow. it is due Monday and it is the hardest one I have had for that course so it is going to take me the whole day to do but then all I will have left for that course (my technology course) is my ECA (end of course assessment) and I plan on doing that the week following the Meat Loaf concert.
The religion assignment didn't go too well and I'm not just saying that. It really went badly because I was ill and missed a load of the course work and I did it on the date it was due and I rushed through it and it didn't make sense but I just wanted it out the way. I almost quit the course so me doing it is much better than me quitting the course no matter what score I got. I just couldn't think of what to put because I didn't really study the course work with being ill. From Monday I will be trying to catch up on that course work, I will be two weeks behind so I need to do about three hours a day (maybe more) on that until I've caught up. I plan on catching up as fast as possible and then starting the assignment early so I can have more time on it and hopefully write a much better assignment than the first two I've done for the course.
My course materials came from my brand new courses the other day and it looks amazing and I just want to start working on them but I'm not allowing myself to do that until I've done my technology assignment and have done at least a weeks worth of course work for my religion course.
One of my new courses is about mammals and the other is about planets so there is a massive difference in subject matter. They are only short courses and shouldn't take too much of my time up. I really am looking forward to starting them. Caroline is actually doing one of the courses at the same time so this will be the first time that we have done the same course and it'll be nice knowing Caroline is doing the same one as me.
I'm getting pretty tired now so I'm going to leave it here but I hope to do another blog in the next couple of days and try to put stuff in that i may have forgotten.
