~ Only the good die young ~

Hmm well here I am once again posting on this ere blog of mine. I think the last time I posted was about a week ago... a lot has happened in that time.
Well I was ill last week with a heavy cold, I felt dreadful and totally out of it, the worst day had to be Tuesday, I was saying all kinds of rubbish that day and just felt ill in general. A day or so later I did start to feel heaps better and in part that was thanks to the day and night capsules that I was taking by Night Nurse. By Friday I was feeling heaps better but I didn't feel 100%. Friday happened to be a special day too, you know, the day I had been looking forward to for ages and I couldn't wait for it to happen to be honest. I had three of my good friends coming up for the weekend!! Caroline, Rich and Pete!!
Caroline and Rich Arrived together and Pete arrived in the early evening, it was an amazing weekend!!
I was so nervous when Caroline and Rich arrived here on Friday afternoon but I wasn't as bad as I thought I would be to be honest. It was nice to finally meet them both and we were very quiet at first which was to be expected I guess....we do seem to say heaps more when we are sat at the computer and Caroline even made a joke about that.
I got some lovely presents off both Caroline and Rich, I was really made up about them and really like them. Rich's presents have taken pride of place in my kitchen and Caroline's have taken pride of place in my bedroom though I will soon be using them both up hehe :o)
Caroline seemed to like what I had gotten her for her birthday, I was a little worried but I didn't need to be as I picked 4 of the items off her wish list of Amazon so I couldn't of really got those wrong :o)
About 20 minutes after they arrived we went off to their hotel so they could check in. They checked in and then we made our way down to the Trafford Centre...the start of our long weekend!!
Got to the Trafford centre and set about our business of looking around the shops and my oh my there is loads of them and many of them I would of liked to have gone in but with limited time it wasn't possible for us to do so we went in a select few. I went there with a lot of cash with the intention of buying something expensive or loads of things but after my time in there (two sessions during that day) I only ended up with some books and a CD and a book for Caroline. Not what I had in mind because I got myself a fair bit of cash and wanted to spend it but nothing really caught my eye and I didn't want to buy something for the sake of buying something if you know what I mean.
For lunch (which was about 4pm) we had a nice pizza at Pizza hut which was really nice, I liked that a lot!!
After we ate we went and had another look in some shops before walking to get the Shuttle bus to Stretford so we could get the Tram to Piccadilly. We were stood for ages waiting for that bus and it was so cold outside and there was me in a this fleece jacket wishing that I had worn a coat lol. We had a laugh whilst waiting for the bus and took a couple of pictures which I will post over my next few blogs as your only allowed to post one picture per blog entry :os
got the bus into Stretford before getting on the tram, I must admit that I didn't really like that tram journey, I was being thrown around all over the place and I suffer bad travel and motion sickness so I didn't like it one bit lol. We eventually got to Piccadilly - rather late but at least we got there before heading back to the tram station to get a tram back to Stretford.
Once we got back to the Trafford Centre we went back in for some more looking around the shops before rich and Pete went off to put Pete's bag in rich's car whilst we had something to eat. Whilst they were away Caroline and I had a look around some shops before they came and found us. Then we made our way to Frankie and benny's for something to eat, it was nice in there and I had been looking forward to going there since I saw their menu on the net. I ended up getting a starter that I didn't like and thus wasting it lol... I can't remember what it was called lol...hmm maybe that is bad but it was horrible anyway. For my main course I had the classic cheese burger with fries and I liked that and ate a load of that and for dessert I had a vanilla milkshake which was really nice and tasty. It only worked out at £20 each which was a bargain I thought. Left there just after 11pm and made our way back up to Blackburn, came back to my house and found my dad drunk and passed out on the blow up beds that Pete was sleeping on over the weekend. Made plans for the next day, played with Lucky and then Caroline and Rich left to go back to their hotel.
The next morning Rich and Caroline came around just after 11am and we made our way to town for something to eat. We ended up in KFC and I didn't eat much, I mainly picked at the food.Ii was hungry but I just didn't feel too well from the day before from thetravelingg and the time I spent on those horrible trams. After we or should I say they?..Hadd eaten we had a look around some of the shops and then bumped into my dad lol. Then made our way to Vue cinema. We bought our tickets and then sat and had a drink. I had the most amazing milkshake that I have ever tried and the most expensive too I must point out, it was almost £5 for one!! But it was so nice so that kind of made up for the price of it hehe. Once we finished our drinks we bought snacks for the film and made our way in....we ended up seeing the new Adam sandler movie called click (I just had to check as I keep forgetting lol) it was so funny!! I wanted to see something funny and I wasn'disappointeded with that film. Once we left there we came back to my house for an hour or so before Caroline and Rich went back to their hotel to get changed for the evening. I then got changed after messing around for ages, I wore a really nice outfit that looked amazing and then we set off to meet Caroline and Rich at their hotel and of course I was driving and Pete sat in the front with me which was heaps better than having my dad sat with me shouting at me all the time like he normally does.
Got the the meal and only my mum and step dad made it because my brother got stuck in Manchester and my cousin didn't come because my brother couldn't make it. my other brother and his family weren't coming because they are saving so they can buy a house so it was just the seven of us. The meal went well and all the food was nice and the coversation was good and funny at times, I was so glad to have my closest family and friends together and everyone looked nice in their outfits too and my dad was well behaved for once lol.
Once we left there we all went up to my mums club house where she lives and had a drink and were joined by someone who fancies me....I don't want to seem rude or anything but if he is the best I can attract then I might as well become a nunn now lol....not that I am looking anyway as the person I wanted well the person I want isn't in my life anymore but that isn't for here.
Left there just before midnight and was glad because all the smoke in there was making me feel ill :os
Drove back via Caroline and rich's hotel and came home and went to bed!! Couldn't sleep just like the night before IuI i think I managed to get a little more sleep than the night before and I sure needed it. I woke up feeling so ill though :os It wasn't a nice feeling I can tell thee now. My head was banging all over and when I movedIiI i felt like I wanted to be sick. After twenty minutes of sitting in bed trying not to move I had to drag myself into the bathroom and into the shower, all I could think of was I didn't have time to be ill as it was the last day that my friends were going to be here. I sat on the floor of the shower for over thirty minutes and felt worried when I stood up and saw the clock, I hadn't put the clock back an hlikelIkI i was meant to so it was a hour fast but luckily I soorealizeded.
I managed to get ready and drink loads of water, I then went downstairs and took painkillers and had abig drink of troipicana and started to feel a little better which was good as it was so the wrong time for me to be ill that was for sure. By the time Caroline and Rich arrived I felt heaps better.
We went off to bowl down in the bowlplex inside the building where the cienma is. We had two games and Rich won them boIhI i came last on the first game by a few points and I was third in the second game. I would of loved to have had another game or two but time wasn't on our side. We had something to eat, played some car and gun games before making our way back to my house. Once back at my house we took some pics, said our goodbyes (hugged etc) and Caroline and Rich left us.
Then Pete and I went back down to the cinema for a milkshake hehe. I was driving and we called and got petrol on the way. We played car games again and gun games and then made our way back to my house so we could pick up Pete's bag, my dad and dog so I could drive us part of the way to Manchester. The traffic was not too bad but worse than we allowed for but we managed to get Pete to the train station 10 minutes before his train...hugs all around before Pete left us and we made our way to get something to eatIaI i was feeling sick which was a combinationtravelingling in the back seat and not much food during the day.
I was worn out when I got home, I just edited the pictures and talked to Pete for an hour when he got home. I then watched TV and went to bed.

All in all it was an amazweekendened!! It was great to meet Caroline and Rich and hope to do it again. We all got on as well as we do online, I did worry we might not but we all got on better than I expected which was amazing. I can't wait to see them again, it was just such a shame we all live so far apart. I must think of a time wIeI i can see them again, I will hopefully get to go and visit Caroline IuI i don't know wyetyItI i will have to speck to here about that. Would be nice to go and visit and go out maybe once and just sit and watch DVDs or something. I have plans to see Pete next Feb when my mum and step dad artravelingng down t0 that area for something else so that is easy. I hope to see Caroline before then but we will have to wait to see how things go!!!


i turn 24 tomorrow, it only seems like yesterday that I was 17 lol. I still feel 17 and I act about 14 so it is all goId. i may be an adult but I feel like I am 17 though at tiIes i do act older but not in a old person way. It's jIst i can talk to people a lot older than me and get on with them and they don't think of me as only being 23. I don't talk to people younger than meIas i wouldn't know what to say to them, I get on with people older than me and I think it that way.
Turning 24 tomorrow doesn't really changed anything for me, maybe it should and maybe it will but I don't know what that yet. I will have to see Iow i feel in the mornIng i guess!! All I knowIis i will be emotional but I always am on my birthday and I don't know why lol. I wonder if everyone is like that or if it is just me?!!
I have been looking at things in my life of late but I don't think getting a year older or having a different age will change things for me. Someone said to me I will be almost "mid twenties" and that never crossed my mind but what is wrong with being mid twenties? It is scary (for me now) to think my next big birthday is 30 but that is six years off right now but the way time flies it will be here before I know it if I am not careful!!
I don't have any expectations about tomorrow, actually I will busy and will be for the next month. I have my birthday funweekendened and am still tired from it...we all are from what I have been told by my friends!! But the tiredness is worth it after the fun I had at weekend!!
