£15 Amazon voucher

I received an £15 voucher from Amazon on Wednesday as part of an incentive for an exclusive online community I got invited to partake in.

The community is for males and females aged between 18-25 and lives in 4 European cities including the UK and America.

I was picked along with 300 others from 5000+ people.

It's for CK ONE and what we do is give our views and opions on products and things and also take part in questionnaires as well.

We also can say what we think is cool and also pick the trend of the week. Once the trend of the week has been chosen we discuss it. There is a new trend of the week each week and this week it's toe socks.
As well as there being the trend of the week there is discussion boards and questionnaires and you can also upload images and songs for other people to look at and stuff.

It is a really cool site and I am so happy and glad that I was one of the 300 picked.

I didn't do it for the free gifts but they are an incentive to carry on with it. I think we get one every five weeks and I don't know if we get the same amount each time and if they are always for Amazon. I kind of wish they weren't always Amazon voucher but we shall see. I might actually post a message to the co-ordinater Jen and ask if we get the same voucher and amount each time or is it something different each time.
What would be nice, seen as it is for CK ONE, is if they sent us a big bottle of CK ONE.

I think that it is all about CK ONE wanting to seal their fragrance and wanting to know what people from around the world are into. What fashions interest them, what they are into, music, where they like to go, what they do in their spare time, what fragrances they use, what they think of adverts for certain products and such. As that is some of the question areas we answer questions in. They could hire someone to answer those questions but there is only so many answers that person can find out so I think that it is a really good idea doing this as they can find out easier of what people are into of our ages and then try to work out how best to market their products.

I was shocked at the fact I got £15, I thought that we would get maybe a £5-10 or a voucher for like 30% off of something. I didn't know how much that I would get so it was a nice surprise. The only thing was I went onto Amazon and I didn't have a clue of what to get. There was and isso much stuff on there that the choice was so hard. I knew for sure that I wasn't going to get a CD so I didn't need to look at them but I looked through the top 100 DVD's and Books and I liked a lot of DVD's but decided against getting a film I hadn't seen or wasn't sure of.
I liked the Little Britain book and I have wanted it for months and months so I thought that I would get that. I didn't want to have to pay something like £3 for delivery on the book so I thought that I might as well make it up to £19 for the free delivery and pay the extra £4 on my bank card. Then I didn't know what each to get to make it up to that amount. - I don't really like the Amazon website and if I had to choose a voucher I think that I wouldn't of picked Amazon at all. A voucher for boots or something like that would be good so I could buy some hair products, make up or a bottle of perfume and that is why I am hoping that the next voucher is for some where else as I don't know if I can be bothod with Amazon again because of the P&P.
In the end I ended up getting the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and The Suspect by Michael Robotham. I picked those two because I have heard a lot about the Da Vinci Code by many people and it is a best seller and is still in the amazon top 10. I picked the other book because I was looking for a thriller/horror and the price was in my limit I wanted to spend and I liked the reviews as it got great reviews off people that had bought it.

My dad said I never read books so he couldn't understand why I had bought three books. I do read and as I said to him all the reading I do now is for my course and there is tons of reading to do. If I had books to read I would read them but I only have a few so I need some new ones to read.
I will read them and in fact I can't wait to get them. I'm very excited about the Little Britain book but that is mainly scripts and such so its more of a look through book and then it will go on my book self. - see I do like books as in preperation I bought two book cases last year and have some room left, I did buy them for course work as I'm accumulating a lot of work that I have done, no longer have the course books as I sold them - and I don't know which of the other two I am going to read first. I think I will read the Dan Brown book first even though at the moment I do want to read the other one first.

It does say 3-5 business days for the books to arrive but it is a different story when you get the email. It says on that that they will be dispatched on Monday and delivery will be between 23-29 so then it is almost two weeks. Maybe they put that just to cover themselves incase for some reason they can't get them out in time. Maybe and hopefully they will be here by Tuesday.

Even so I am not allowing myself to read any until I have caught up on my course work. I know that if I put that rule upon myself that I am more likely to catch up sooner rather than later as I really want to read the books.
